After a lengthy consultation I answered her questions.A neighbor of hers Mrs Ndegwa also came through for my training she does improved kienyeji.

So Saturday I had a privilege to meet up with Mr Ndegwa at Kenol muranga county,a poultry Farmer.on arrival to his farm I found him selling chicken to another farmer who want to start poultry farming,its okay but Mr Ndegwa had no measures to keep away infections from his farm.No foot bath, no dust coat, no hand sanitization. Why am I saying this,today being Sunday Mr Ndegwa has just called me to tell me that some of his birds are not feeding,that means that his farm got pathogens from the farmer /buyer who came yesterday to purchase chicken( BIO SECURITY ) VERY IMPORTANT.

I have a question.A farmer came to me for advice.The farmer want to be selling 1 month old chicks he broods and feeds for 30 dad and sells. How much will it cost the Farmer to raise the chicks for 30 days and how much will he sell a chick that is 30 days old.He has improved kienyeji.

Fermenting chicken feed increases weight,better digestion of feed, chicken become full with little feed, less wastage,increased good bacteria in the gut thus less digestive disorders.
Mix feed in a bucket 5-7kgs
Add sunflower or soya 1kg
Add water to the brim and stir and close tightly
After 2 hours check water level,add water if it's below feed (water should be above feeds)
Fermenting fit 4 days
Feed the wet mash not the water
The fermented water is used in making next batch of feed.
