However, lots of brow artists have fear of getting too dark hairs after the full treatment 🤔

True: after applying brow perm compositions, a hair much easily absorbs pigment, but ❗️

There are several tricks that will help you achieve the desired shade 🤞🏼

DRY SKIN: SECRETS OF ITS PREPARATION BEFORE TINTING

🍂 Have you ever noticed that with the onset of cold weather, one may experience peelings on skin? And the eyebrow area is not an exception. 😱

To ensure a perfect tinting result, you have to properly moisturize the skin before the procedure 🫧

For this, follow our recommendations:

✔️ Use Eyebrow Conditioner BRONSUN: apply a small amount of the product to the eyebrows for a few minutes and then remove with a wet cotton pad. Cleanse the area with Eyebrow Shampoo BRONSUN and proceed to tinting.

✔️ Use PROTEIN BOTEX. Apply a small amount of the product to the eyebrows for a few minutes and then remove the residue with a wet cotton pad. After that, cleanse the area with Eyebrow Shampoo BRONSUN and proceed to tinting.

✔️ Micellar Aqua + Saline Solution or just Eyebrow Shampoo BRONSUN are also good for cleansing dry skin before tinting.

KEEPING THE COLOR INTENSE: ONLY USEFUL ADVICE 😎

One of the most frequently asked questions is how to preserve color after tinting?

Here is our TOP-3 advice:

1️⃣ Remove dye smoothly and do not use too much moisture. That is how you take off only the minimum amount of intermediate pigment leukoforms. As a result, the more of it remains inside hairs.

2️⃣ Take into consideration the following aspects: skin type, hair type by density, hair porosity, color depth and hair color level, rules of working with developer, dye application technique, dye exposure time on eyebrows, some individual features (hormonal changes, intake of medications).

3️⃣ Use “acidic” products. BRONSUN care line offers the conditioner that protects tinted hairs: they do not go dark or change the color (it remains rich and vibrant). And, of course, do not forget about the color fixing lotion that fixes color and ensures extreme dye permanence. Both items can hardly be replaced with anything else. 🥰

HOW CAN YOU HELP THE COLOR TO REVEAL ITSELF? 🤔

Choosing the right shade, making great mixes, etc. are surely very important in eyebrow tinting. But a brow artist has a chance to help the color to reveal itself at the utmost ☀️ How?

Make sure to pay attention to:

➡️ Skin type (dry, normal, oily)
On dry skin, you will have a more rich and vibrant tinting effect than on oily one.

➡️ Hair type by thickness (normal, thin, thick)

➡️ Hair porosity
High porosity hairs are tinted faster and more intensively than low porosity ones.

➡️ Color depth and hair color level

➡️ Skin preparation for a tinting procedure

➡️ Following the rules of working with an oxidant
Use the oxidant in the required proportions (specified in the instructions). For Milk-cream developer BRONSUN it is 1:1.

➡️ Dye application technique
Apply a dye in a thin layer. The denser the layer is, the less intense imprint on skin you will get.

➡️ Dye exposure time on eyebrows
It is always specified in the instructions. As for BRONSUN dye, it is 7-20 minutes. Please do not overexpose it in chase of having a more vibrant result!

➡️ Individual factors
Hormonal changes, medication intake, etc.

GEL + CREAM: YES OR NO?

When BRONSUN cream dye had just gone on sale, we promptly received a curious question: can it be mixed with BRONSUN gel dye? And since then, you have not stopped asking us about it. 😅

So, here is the answer: it is better not to mix them up. You can mix a dye with an oxidant: they are meant for this. But one type of dye should not be mixed with another one.

You will not get a new consistency or unusual interesting mixes, but you will probably get an undesired result.

We have already done our best to develop two different textures – gel and cream one – that are both easy to work with and apply. Choose whatever you want, and suits you better as a brow artist. Both textures do not leak and are handy to distribute along the shape.

Mix shades of BRONSUN gel dye with gel ones, and cream dye with cream ones: each dye palette offers plenty of cool shades. 😉
