As a Health & Wellness Coach, I get asked a lot if I'm a veggie-loving vegan or vegetarian.

And the answer is NOPE, sorry to burst your veggie bubble! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

If I had to label my nutrition, I’d say I’m more of an intuitive eater. Which means, I eat whatever I want, whenever I want... as long as it's made of kale!

Just kidding. But seriously, eating intuitively means trusting my body and giving it what it needs in the moment.

If I’m craving meat, I eat the juiciest, melt-in-your-mouth goodness there is.

If I’m having a sweet tooth, I indulge without guilt, because life is all about balance, am I right?

Are green beans a carb or a protein?

Fun Fact: That’s one of the most googled questions about Green Beans.

Answer: They are a member of the legume family, along with beans and lentils, but they have significantly fewer carbs than most legumes.

However, I really feel it’s beside the point - Green Beans are a vegetable!!

A highly antioxidant and anti-inflammatory food with great health benefits.

Green beans have been found to be effective at reducing risks associated with heart disease and cancer because of the high number of flavonoids.
