Private practice pressure, unhealthy competition & professional politics are distressing our medical doctors; this is a major source of deteriorating quality & ethical healthcarei.
Where we are wrong?
The colonial culture of exploitation of juniors / trainees by seniors are extension of the same barbaric culture of ragging from medical school days.
Men are made into slaves, women are often made into obedient dolls.
It is worse in developing nations where women are not liberated.
This practice not only destroys the spine of juniors , but creates vengence & revenge culture in their minds to perpetuate the process against the incoming juniors & the cycle continues.
How to stop it?
Need exemplery punishment to break this cycle. LIFE IMPRISONMENT TO 1 OR 2 IN EACH MEDICAL SCHOOL EVERY YEAR FOR FEW YEARS IN.A ROW MAY STOP IT.

Taking lectures prepared from books & literature is part of teaching, it is no academics.
Academics is about doing original, well designed, real world & relevant research
And research is not any fashion or status symbol; it is geared towards better patient care by answering locally relevant research questions through sound methodology & high ethical standards.
Writing case reports / series, nonliving systematic reviews or industry sponsored clinical trials are no science or any academics.
