The City of Claremont Police Department is seeking certified and non-certified, career oriented, intellectual, motivated applicants to join our team. The selected candidates must be able to complete the NH Police Standards & Training Full Time Academy if not currently certified and must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.

What We Offer:

- Competitive base pay starting at $55,524.86 - $78,388.03
- Comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, life insurance, and short-term disability
- Paid vacation, personal & sick leave, and 11 paid holidays per year
- Enrollment in the New Hampshire State Retirement System

Requirements:

- Must be 21 years old by Police Academy graduation date
- United States citizenship required
- High School Education or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean criminal record
- Must pass character, background, and minimum hiring requirements set by NH Police Standards and Training Council
