It’s been a very dark couple of years; so I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to all the people who’ve kept their chins up. Having recently braved the lowest point of my own life, I’ve gotta say: the rise after the fall is a lengthy process; but SO worth the struggle & quite the sight, when you really look at it. Vega is the brightest star in the Lyra constellation ⭐️ So, shine as brightly as you can in every given moment. Keep going- one day at a time. You never know who you’re inspiring.

Disagreements & arguments are inevitable when you’re just that close to someone; & my best friend, Kristine, & I are that close- I’m talking telepathy close. My dog, Ninja, was the best. I had him since he was 3 months old; & we spent almost half of my life together. My mom always used to call him “Shadow” because he never left my side. He passed away last year- less than a month before my mom did… It’s been such a struggle just trying to fall asleep without him next to me, especially when I’m painfully reminded that I can’t run to my mom & cry in her arms either… but I’m learning to adjust. I want to live the life I know they both want for me; & though the sadness still hits in massive waves, my drive to make them proud now somehow outweighs the depression. For anyone wading through the pain, too: I’m right there with you; & I know our loved ones are rooting for us from the plane we just can’t see.
