Easter Vigil in the Holy night ...
Lumen Christi
gloriose resurgentis
dissipet tenebras cordis et mentis.

May the light of Christ
rising in glory
dispel the darkness of our hearts and minds.
Our tonights Saturday Rosary, in the light of the pascal candle only which is lit today for the first time to be lit all through the year, until the next Easter is offered for friends and families, deceased, loved ones AND the forgotten ones, but hopefully it also includes the ones who you yourself may thinking of.

"on this most sacred night,
in which our Lord Jesus Christ
passed over from death to life,
the Church calls upon her sons and daughters,
scattered throughout the world,
to come together to watch and pray.
If we keep the memorial
of the Lord's paschal solemnity in this way,
listening to his word and celebrating his mysteries,
then we shall have the sure hope
of sharing his triumph over death
and living with him in God."
Lumen Christi.
Deo gratias.

The Light of Christ.
Thanks be to God.

Our pascal candle is a bee wax candle, blessed properly in Latin shortly before Candle Mass in early February.

It was 120 cm but broke in half during the transportation from southern Europe as Bee wax candles are softer. Alpha and Omega 2023 ought to be written on the candle.
Stay calm,
pray the Rosary.
Carry on!

And, may the Lord be with you.

We finished the Eight Day Rosary for the deceased Pope Benedict XVI on the Sunday the 8th January as it was the Feastday of the Holy Family: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

The prayer booklet is now amended and will be printed. We have also prepared a standard version according to our new structure.
We decided to release a version online, which was a bit nervous for us. It has been a discussion about how to promote the concept of praying for a deceased and at the same time, not to risk losing the concept even if it is a registered brand.
At the same time, it is Our Lady who is in charge and we have to trust her.

Our Step-by-Step Rosary community will pray an 8-day Rosary for the deceased Pope Benedict XVI's eternal soul starting today 31 Dec. 2022.
Requiem æternam dona eis Domine
- Et lux perpetua luceat eis -
Requiescant in pace
Amen

The second day of Rosary prayers for H.M. Queen Elisabeth II through our "8 Day Rosary for the Deceased"

May the angels lead you into paradise;
may the martyrs receive you at your arrival and lead to the holy city Jerusalem.
May choirs of angels receive you and with Lazarus, once a poor man,
may you have eternal rest and let the perpetual light shine upon you.
May you rest in peace.

The Eight Day Rosary for the Deceased® is simply a suggestion for anyone to use while praying the Holy Rosary for a deceased.
The three Divine virtues, Faith, Hope and Love guides us through life. Without Faith, there is no Hope and without Hope, there is no Love.
We hope that the faithful who have died will enter the state of Purgatory and eventually Heaven and we pray for their souls. We remember them in our prayers.
“The Holy Rosary, by age-old tradition, has shown itself particularly effective as a prayer which brings the family together. … The family that prays together stays together.”

We commenced our first "Eight Day Rosary for the Deceased tonight at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, give to the souls of Your servants departed the remission of all their sins, that through our pious prayers they may obtain the pardon they always desired.
To you, O Lord, we commend the soul of Your servant Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II.
She is dead to this world. May shee live in You.
And whatever sins she may have committed in this life do You in Your most merciful goodness forgive.
