UYO FIELD LAUNCHES DIGITAL PROFILING SYSTEM FOR MINISTERS.. As Pastors Receive New Digitized Identity Cards

In a groundbreaking development, The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Uyo Field has officially launched a state-of-the-art digital profiling system for their Ministerial staff, a system that allows for the seamless verification of its pastors' identities.

Announcing the launch of the new digital system, Tuesday October 24, during a special homecoming service at The Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Obot Idim Nsit, the Uyo Field Superintendent, Apostle Prof. I. N. George, notified the Uyo Field ministerial staff of the new ministers' profiling system, while authorizing the issuance of the new scan code identity cards for pastors.

According to him, the newly launched digital database is set to revolutionize the way the Church manages and verifies its pastoral staff, ensuring transparency and accountability in the process, adding that with this innovative system, congregants and Church officials can easily confirm the authenticity of their pastors by accessing the Church's website and entering the unique verification code associated with each pastor.

"This digital database will provide a secure and efficient means of confirming the credentials of pastors within The Apostolic Church in Uyo Field, enhancing trust and accountability within the religious community. It is expected to streamline administrative processes and strengthen the overall operations of the Church," he said.

At the event, Prof. George who presented the new identity cards to all pastors in Uyo Field, adorned the Deputy Field Superintendent, Apostle E. E. Duke and the Field Secretary, Apostle G. E. Akpan, and reiterated the resolve of the Field Council to continue adopting new ways to make the ministerial assignment of the pastors dignifying.

Earlier, the Head of ICT and New Media of the Church, Engr. Otobong Ite, who was invited by the Council to give an orientation to the ministers on the workability of the new identity cards and digital profiling system, explained that each card is programmed to have a unique identity number and scan code which opens an individual pastor's internet portal domiciled on Uyo Field's website via www.tacuyofield.org

While pointing out that the cloud-based profiling software employs Internet of Things (IoT) technology, he also stated that the public can access any pastor's information on the website through the 'Authentication' section on the home page, by searching the pastor's name, or unique identity number or the scan code on the identity card.

The pastors' portal on the website displays individual details including full name, portfolio and details of the current mission station of a given pastor including the Field Superintendent and all Field Council Members. It will significantly streamline the process of validating pastoral credentials, providing an effective deterrent against impersonation going forward.

APOSTOLIC EVANGELISM IN IFIAYONG

The Growth

It was the first time the natives of Ifiayong Usuk ever witnessed a pentecostal movement laced with prayer and divine healing. The early converts at the time began volunteer evangelism, winning relatives, friends and allies into the fold.

Nearly 90 years after, the movement has transcended beyond small night gatherings, convergence in small sheds and huts into a greatly established Christian ministry with large congregations across surrounding communities.

Later this October, another historic move is coming. Don't wait to be told, prepare to be a part.

APOSTOLIC EVANGELISM IN IFIAYONG

The Planting

Typically, the establishment of every assembly of The Apostolic Church globally since 1920 is preceded by an evangelical outreach. In August 1935, a strong evangelical wave hit Ifiayong Usuk and left an unending impact.

A young Efik convert, Eyo Edet Okon, had accompanied two European missionaries, Pastor George Perfect and Pastor Idris Vaughan to Ifiayong from Calabar and their visit planted The Apostolic Church in the village with congregants drawn from nearly Idu, Mbiakong and up to Nsukara in Offot Ukwa Clan.

Today, a fresh wave of evangelism is about to visit Ifiayong Usuk and environs.

Don't wait to be told, prepare to be a part.

TACN AKS TERRITORY SALUTES PASTOR UMO ENO, DEPUTY..harps on righteous leadership

The Akwa Ibom State Territorial Council of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, led by Apostle Effiong Okon Uye, on behalf of the entire flocks in the Territory has congratulated the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno and his Deputy, Her Excellency, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi on their formal inauguration and assumption of Office as the 5th Democratically elected Governor of the State and Deputy respectively.

A release signed by the Territorial Secretary of the Church, Apostle Prof. Ime Nyong George noted that the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno and Dr. Akon Eyakenyi as the Governor and Deputy Governor of the State is not accidental, but pre-ordained as encapsulated in the scripture.

Apostle Uye, the Territorial Chairman appreciated God for making the transition of power both at the Federal and State levels to be smooth sailing in spite of all the uncertainties that surrounded the event.

He maintained that the successful transition of power to new leaders in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria has proven God’s unfailing love and faithfulness to our country.

Apostle Uye, while commending Pastor Umo Eno on his inaugural speech of pledging to govern the State beyond party lines expressed optimism that God shall guide him to uphold the pledge for continuous growth and development of the State.

He also charged the Governor to be alive to his covenant with the people of the State as contained in his A. R. I. S. E. agenda for the benefit of Akwa Ibomites, irrespective of the ethnic divide, religious affiliation or political platform.

The Chairman, while also congratulating the outgoing Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel on his successful tour of duty and a successful ex*****on of his completion agenda, urged Governor Umo Eno to strive to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessors as well as evolve policies that would better the living standards of the people.

He furthered that as someone from the ecclesiastical background, it has become most challenging to him to practicalize the scriptural injunction, “When the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice,” positing that his assumption of Office as Governor of the State signals another season of prosperity, enduring peace, love and untainted unity of the State.

Apostle Uye, while praying God’s divine direction for the success of the Pastor Umo Eno led administration in the State expresses the resolve of The Apostolic Church to continue in its scriptural obligation of supporting them in their prayers.

Ministering: Pastor Simon Okpo
Text: Ezra 10:4
Theme: Taking Charge
Taking Charge means taking dominion and responsibility.
God is calling on youths to take charge of everything around them.

There are four categories of people ;
1. People who blame God for everything that happens to them.
2.People who blame the Devil.
3.People who apportion blames to other people for happenings in their lives.
4. People who take charge.
As a youth, I urge you to be among the people who take charge. You must take charge physically, spiritually and otherwise.

When you realize your purpose in life, you'll do it as if your life depends on it. You must take charge.
You must have one thing that you value so much that matters in your life.

Case study: the man at the pool of Bethesda, waited for man to come and help him and he waited for a very long time.

Jephthah was rejected in his family and seen as an outcast. When he realized that no one was willing to support him, he rose to the occasion and took charge, his story never remained the same.

Joseph took charge even in a strange land and did exploits.

Daniel took charge and God bestowed upon him the spirit of excellence.

Declarations
Anything you set to do this year, the Lord will arise and help you.

The spirit of slumber, backwardness, discouragement and weakness is leaving you in the name of Jesus.

That same spirit that made Joseph to take charge in a strange land is coming upon you in Jesus' name, Amen.

Anything that is keeping you down and stopping you from excelling is leaving you now in the name of Jesus, you are released to the top .

APOSTOLIC YOUTH INTERCEDE FOR AKWA IBOM, NIGERIA.. Commits to Progressive Living.. As Governorship Hopeful Shares Blueprint with Young Apostolics

Youth of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Akwa Ibom Territory have interceded for the state and country, praying to God for the entrenchment of peace as the governorship and state assembly elections in the Akwa Ibom and Nigeria takes place March 11, while commiting to progressive living for a personal and collective development.

At the 2023 Youth Summit of the Church organised by the Akwa Ibom Territorial Youth Movement, Tuesday March 7, with the theme, 'Taking Charge', drawn from Ezra 10:4, young Apostolics in an intense intercessory prayer session committed Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria to God, praying against forces of chaos and that may rise to cause terror and disrupt peace in the state and country.

The summit which was graced by the presence of a governorship candidate in the state, Pastor Umo Eno, had the guber hopeful share his blueprint and plans for young people in the state which he emphasized on policies to build human capital among young Akwa Ibomites to become active players in a budding industrial economy as well as entrench a Christ-centric governance.

Eno who shared his story with the young Apostolics, observed young people in the Church having had a solid moral and ethical background, are better placed to make remarkable exploits in their personal endeavour, proposing to maintain partnership with the Church in a bid to achieve the Akwa Ibom State of our dreams where the true potentials of the youth are developed.

Earlier, the Akwa Ibom Territorial Youth leader of the Church, Pastor (Barr) Samuel Inyang in his welcome remarks, who described Apostolic youth as a great stock of God's ambassadors with abilities to create positive impact in the society, expressed the readiness of young Apostolics to build capacity and take the front seat in every sphere of influence, holding that it is a productive way to spread godly impacts.

"As youth of The Apostolic Church, we have resolved to sustain our faith, preserve our heritage and protect our future. We have the strength, we have the will, we have the number", he said.

"The theme of this summit, "Taking Charge", is no doubt informed by this narrative. The message is simple, apt and instructive taken from the book of Ezra 10:4... It is no gainsaying the fact that this message resonates with our undaunted resolve for excellent leadership and Christian service delivery."

Thousands of Apostolic youth who were participants at the summit committed to lead a progressive life style, exude courage and determination to succeed and spread godly influence in their environment.

Also in attendance at the summit were members of the Akwa Ibom State Territorial Council of The Apostolic Church.
