Here is a cool site I learned about while researching my Willow Grill Plate. Unfortuately, I have to join the group to get more info. Plate is marked "Made in Poland." When I bought it, I thought it read "Made in England!" Can anyone tell me how I could find the maker? Google has not helped and I think it must be listed in some book or another. I have attached photos.

Attribution question! Has anyone ever seen this cup or other pieces that match? I picked up a pair of these at the Goodwill and I can't find anything like them online. The cup is heavy, with a matte glaze and the tree and cloud forms are applied on one side before the final firing. No artist marks at all. They feel very special to me and I would like more if possible.

Tuesday's new listing is a group of hand painted teacups and saucers. They are getting close to 100 years old! The blanks were purchase between 1945 and 1951 and probably painted during that time. My grandmother was a china painter. She had a small kiln in her basement and a studio upstairs. These were not painted by her but are quite similar.

This casserole is from the Charstone Bleu pattern of Red Wing's CeramaStone line. This was the last line they produced before closing in 1967. It's glaze is a dark blue-green color. The plates from this pattern had a hand-painted decoration but the other pieces like this one were a solid dark color inside and out.
