A lot has happened since our brewday with … “Born This Way” was released in April and during its residency on tap at the brewpub, has donated *all* profits from its sale to , a new project focusing on inclusion and equality in the sport of bouldering 💛💛The last keg of this collab beer will be tapped this Saturday at their first fest 🍻🍻

On International Women‘s Day we participated in International Women’s Collaboration Brewday with a three way collab together with and and support from , and . It was a pleasure to hang out with other badass women in the industry who share our passion. WHAT A WEEK(END)! We've had a few days to catch our breath after touring around for the release of PartiziBier (alongside our day-to-day jobs and family duties) and wanted to say THANK YOU once more to , & for hosting us! We appreciate the extra efforts you all made to bring more visibility and awareness to the .ch Frauensession and our .beer -inspired Verein!

Tonight we’re tapping our PartiziBier at at 17 o‘clock. Come and have a beer with us and chat about this exciting project. The Frauensession at the Bundeshaus is starting off today in celebration of 50 years of women’s right to vote. 246 Women from all over Switzerland are coming together to discuss different issues and will present the concrete demands to the Parlement and Bundesrat after. PRE-PARTY! Our beer is our in the wild and the first kegs will be tapped tonight! This would not have been possible without our logistics partner in the French community, . When we told then about our project, they enthusiastically jumped on board to support our vision and volunteer their logistics services for this cause. Thanks to their speedy action, the beers are on their way and will be available , , , & . They also invited us to pour the first kegs TONIGHT to get some good vibes going for the .ch . The first person who needed to try our freshly packed beer was .susi , our brewmaster who hadn't only been working on PartiziBier's recipe in the last months... 👶 Susi also named the style of the hybrid beer we brewed, and we were able to weave a lot of meaning into "Session Festbier."

Festbier = 🎉🎉 celebrating all of this, plus the recipe was influenced by this style of beer

created the logo for the .ch virtual party to celebrate the anniversary of women's right to vote in 🇨🇭, and we were excited to have her on board to design the label for PARTIZIBIER. It includes elements from protests and propoganda, inspired by our visit to the Panorama Projection at the Bundesplatz. These symbols remind us of what we are celebrating this year: the right for women to PARTICIPATE in elections, to cast their votes, to have a voice.

Talking beer and B.I.E.R. just two months after founding our Verein. And in two weeks, our first beer is released at events happening in Lausanne , Basel , and Zürich from 28-30 October. Mark your calendars, more details to come...

The Community Blend collaboration asks participating breweries to help improve their communities by making a donation to a local charity. For B.I.E.R.'s inaugural brew, we have decided to donate to .ch , an NGO that aligns with the mission of .beer , to celebrate the 50th anniversary of women's right to vote in 🇨🇭 And coincidentally, the beer will be ready in time for the Frauensession on 29-30 October at the Bundeshaus. It really seems like this project is meant to be!

Almost two years ago, an amazing group of women were summoned to Copenhagen by the one and only Mariana to brew, share, and discuss .beer, her vision for a collaborative project to tackle gender bias in the brewing industry. When the second GLOWalong collaboration invitation rolled around this spring (a community-focused brew with cryo hops), and .susi started scheming and decided to take the global mission of .beer here locally to Switzerland. Along with Selina and Dylan , they founded B.I.E.R., the Swisster (Swiss sister) of G.L.O.W., and we're so excited to share our first brew at the end of October.

Hello! We are B.I.E.R. and we Brew for Inclusion, Equality and Respect. In August 2021 we founded our association with the aim to brew beer and donate all profits to charities that support our values. We love beer and want to use it as a means to spark conversations and do good in our community, society and environment. Our first batch is already in the tank, so watch this space to learn more about this beer and help us build our network in Switzerland so we can do it again.
