oh colorado… where to even begin. this elopement was surrounded by the lushest green trees and the reddest rocks i’ve ever seen. not to mention all of the weather we got during the span of a day.

getting to capture Jasmyn + Marc’s intimate elopement in Boulder Colorado was truly an experience I will never forget. they said their vows in front of close family with the most gorgeous scenery as their backdrop. not to mention they braved the wind and rain during their photos. everything about this will live rent free in my head for. ever.

can you believe this was their first time in front of a camera?!?! i can’t ! i know how intimidating it can be to get in front of a camera for the first time (or anytime!) but my biggest focus is making sure you feel comfortable and have FUN! never had photos done? ya should try it out ;)

one of my favorite things about this industry is getting to reconnect with people i haven’t talked to in way too long.

brynn and i used to work together while we were in high school!! i remember us talking about how we can’t wait to get engaged to our high school sweethearts, so when she reached out and told me they got engaged… oh. em. gee. full circle moment.
it was so much fun taking their first round of engagement photos (yes you’ll be seeing a round 2 of them!), and i absolutely cannot wait for their wedding next year!!

unwritten is honestly the most perfect song to represent how i’ve been feeling lately. HAPPY. this weather has been making me want to run around wild with my camera. so when britt asked about doing a fun sunset shoot, i was ALLL IN.

i absolutely love “just because” shoots because there’s so much potential for new shots and creative ideas. it was definitely hard to pick only a handful from this sooooo I definitely see a part 2 to this ;)
