Hello All. Greatly anticipating the 2022 season. Hope to get this site more active and filled with photos and videos although I'll need help with that.

Kessel and our son Pete, our daughter-in-law Janie, our beloved granddogs Pippa and Charlie, and Baby Girl whose name will not be divulged until July. Best Senior Day ever. More photos to come.

Excellent games today for both teams. Meaningful losses? Absolutely. Every guy in our program is pointed towards improving, being competitive and understanding their role. This is a beautiful thing. Finding your place on a team. Big final week of the regular season with three games including Senior Night on 5/14 against new rival Kenston.

Went back to GA to retrieve some stuff last night. This sunset accentuated what a beautiful campus we have, particularly after the buzz and energy of games just played.

Fantastic team win tonight against a respected and fired-up opponent, as they always are under the leadership of my friend Coach Stepinak. Kessel Richards continues to show he's one of the top goalies in Ohio Division 2 with 13 quality saves. 8 face-off wins for Nick Larrabee against a very tough Westlake boy who is going to Toledo to play football. A stellar night from middie Shea Hofstrom with 2g/2a. Tate Simpson tallied 2g/1a. Tanyon Bajzer all over the field with 7gbs and 1g.

53 shots fired at the Padua goalie who made 22 saves. A good start towards improvement in the facets of the game we need to execute more efficiently. Hats off to sophomore goalie Rocco Hice who recorded his first varsity saves (5). 5g/4a from Cam Bajzer. 1g/5a from Tate Simpson. 5g/1a from sophomore sensation Luke Radke. 7 face-off wins for Tanyon Bajzer. Senior mid Nick Larrabee helped with 4 face-off wins and 5 groundballs.

Gutty come-from-behind win for our 2-0 JV yesterday at Hawken. Varsity fought hard in a physical, emotional struggle dropping a 10-7 decision to the 4-1 Hawks.
JV goalie Rocco Hice pulled off a unicorn lacrosse play, racing the length of the field for his first goal. Rocco added an impressive 17 saves. Varsity goalie Kessel Richards made an astounding 21 saves. We need to dramatically decrease the number of shots he sees by staying out of the penalty box.

Excited to build on our first-game experience from CVCA. Traveling across town to take on our rivals Hawken. JV is primed to stay stingy defensively behind Rocco. Varsity will strive to behave themselves, relatively speaking, and stay out of the penalty box. Should be a great game with the 3-1 Hawks. JV face-off is 5pm. Varsity start is 7pm on this beautiful spring day.

Very excited to create this page to share information and media about all things related to Gilmour Academy Boys Lacrosse. We start our 2021 campaign tomorrow at home against the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders. Face-off is at 5:00pm. COVID restrictions remain in place. After the loss of our 2020 season how excited are we to get after it tomorrow?!
