🖤 In March 2020 Reed, now 4, was diagnosed with Morquio A Syndrome. Morquio A is an autosomal storage disorder that occurs in every 200,000-300,000 births. His body does not make the enzyme to break down certain glucose molecules, therefore he receives the synthetic form of this enzyme in an weekly infusion. In short, if he doesn’t receive this enzyme, those glucose molecules will attack his organs and skeletal system. It is a progressive disease, which means it will get worse over time.

🖤 He gets his infusion in the comfort of his home now, and that has been such an improvement in the quality of life for him and for us.
🖤 Reed loves to play the drums and listen to music by the Beatles. He is the life of the party and everyone’s favorite little boy. He amazes us every day with his kind, super smart, and caring qualities.

Our seven year old cousin Alexa Rigney is doing just that!

Our superhero is in the fight of her life and she has an army of 🙏and ❤️ behind her.
