COVID PNEMONIA

My journey with (covid pnemonia) started on Saturday (Jan29th 2022) when I was getting ready for my 3pm shift at the USPS. I started to have a hard time breathing and my chest felt very heavy,I was getting the chills then after wards started running a fever which got up to 103. I started to develop a dry cough. so I decided to lay down,called in sick and slept for the next 10 hours.

At 5:00am the next morning Sunday(Jan30th) I was worse at that point I had almost all the covid symptoms, I made an appointment at well now and got tested for COVID. Test results would be back in 12 hours which I could get results on line. I left well now being diagnosed with pnemonia.

The next morning (Jan31,2022) I received a phone call from WELL NOW stated the my test came back postive with COVID PNEMONIA! I also received a text and phone call fron the NYS HEALTH DEPT, asking me numerous questions and telling me to quarantine for 5 days which made my quarantine up feb 5th at midnight.(THIS IS WHEN THE JOURNEY OF HELL BEGAN)

I progressively started to get worse with in the next 2 weeks. I started to have what the call long term COVID symptoms. I was able to work 40-60 hours a week,now I get short winded when I take 10-15 steps and also have chest tightness and pain which is now know as (COVID HEART PULSATIONS)I sometimes cant comprehend or remember short term conversations which is know as (BRAIN FOG) I find myself writing stuff down just to remember.

I tested negative on Feb 5,2022 and everyday I still feel like I have COVID but feel worse then when I was postive. Im writing my story because people that never have had COVID shouldnt judge people who have and now have covid taking over there life and body. I feel like I've been hit by a mack truck.

Doctors have no remedies or answers to cure these horrible side effects that remain and keep torching my body.
I've had these symptoms my whole journey so far:
1- Fatigue - all I feel like doing is sleeping,and always feel run down and exhausted.
2 - Chills in the afternoon and night sweats, running fevers, and waking up drenched.
3 - When I eat it feels like my throat closes up - know as the (COVID STRANGLE)
4 - The headaches are worse than migraines the pressure that hurts your temples and eyes,
5 - Shortness of breath makes my breathing difficult even though my 02 is fine, having pnemonia doesnt help the cause either.
6 - Heavyness and tightness in my chest, feels like someone is sitting on my chest. I have heart palpitations. My heart beats real fast sometimes.
7 - My whole body aches and gets stiff alot and sometimes it hurts to move with muscle pain and spasms.
8 - I have a dry cough all the time but with pnemonia I had a harse and painful cough.
9 - I have tremors
10 - I get light headed and dizzy and sometimes I have to sit up before I can get up.
11 - I never had any of these symptoms until I was stricten with (COVID PNEMONIA)

I have been out of work for 3 months been to the doctors and hospital 12 times and I have not felt any relief yet.

This has been a very scary journey for me from seeing my primary doctor to cardiology to pulmonary.

Its really hard not staying or feeling safe in your own body.
I'm telling my story of Long Haul Covid cause I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It is sucking the life right out of me,but I wont let it beat me down I will take it down.

I just want to get better and live a normal life again this is no way to live. Waking up everyday not feeling normal and wondering what you will be feeling,and when it will finally be gone from your body, I miss my life! Cant wait to be cured from this deadly virus.

People need to understand us with LONG HAUL COVID DIDN'T CHOOSE FOR THIS TO TAKE OVER OUR LIFE AND BODY! WE CAN'T HELP THE SIDE EFFECTS WE ARE STILL DEALING WITH ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU ALL UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE DEALING WITH ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS AND NOT JUDGE US! BUT TO BE THERE FOR US AND TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH! THIS IS NO JOKE! THIS IS SERIOUS! I WILL STILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT THESE DEMONS!
