Race day @ Echo MX and hanging with our family. Easton’s finished 4th overall in p*e wee 7-8 and Cole finished 12 in his first moto of 65cc and dnf his last. Thank you shout out for the EMT crew who checked him out as he took a pretty crazy ride head first into the dirt on lap number 2 coming down off a jump. (Scary S**t)

The End of our 2022 race season! The boys learned some valuable lessons this year with the ups and down of the cars & mechanical issues. We’re super proud of how they did overall, tonight included.

Through the rain drops we managed to get our races in and Cole started 11th and finished 4th in his feature. Easton dns his feature.

Special shout out to our poppy & grammy, uncle Chad and Dad for all you do so we can get out on the track. We couldn’t do it without you!!

On to deer 🦌 hunting and snowmobile season. ✌️🏁🇺🇸

Update: Not the night we were hoping for, but isn’t that that what makes winning so sweet… Both heats went off without a hitch. Cole started P14 and Easton P16 in the feature and both made it through the green. Heading forward, I’ve never seen so many young drivers scrambling for P1 and the $100 take home eager to get to the front. A group of cars pushed up turn 3/4 with a roll over, Cole snaked the inside and bumped with another car Which resulted in a broken chain. Easton made it through the turn past the reck and burned up the clutch when they lifted the red flag. And that was a wrap up of our night without even 1 lap on the counter 🤔. On a another note the Jr. Slingshot kids did a helmet drive for donations for Pancreatic Cancer at the track and boy does that sure hit home! Missing ya Poppy. ❤️

Hoping for a cool night and tacky track conditions. 🤞we worked all of Cole’s new car kinks out and we can see what the boy can really do. Sunday Funday Raceday! 🏁

Not exactly the night we planned but we will take the good with the bad…

Cole started 1st heat P4 finishing P3 and Easton started 2nd heat P4 finishing P6. Easton had a car drive into him in turn 1&2 but managed to keep his cool and throttle through it. Coles heat wasn’t bad, but a brand new car and motor takes time to break in.

Feature Cole started P5 making only 1 lap before the first round of cautions only have his clutch gr***de on the restart taking him out for the race. Easton started P17 finishing the race in P17, managing 18 cars, lots of cautions and restarts and keeping the car running smooth and fast.

Race day in 🇺🇸 🏁 - (work/life/racing) balance 😉

Update: Feature - Cole started on the pole and Easton started in 9th. Right off the gate, Cole lost P1 down the front stretch, staying heavy into the throttle fighting for P3 & P4 slipping back to P6th for the finish. Its hard to watch the disappointment on a driver who gave it all with what the car will do. That’s what makes the victorys 🏁 so rewarding. Time to make some car changes!!!

Easton ended up parking it for the night in 11th. He did awesome navigating with the cars off the start and running his line till the end of the race. All in all a successful night.

What a night of racing! Heat race went off with no issues, Easton started on the pole in both the heat and feature. Cole started P9 finishing 7th and Easton got taken out by Cole with a few laps remaining in the feature. Will need to inventory all the broken parts in the morning 💰 😳 I think my last post said rubbing is racing 🤔 looks like we better rethink that ☝️. 🇺🇸 🏁

What a night of racing for these Conrad Slinger Boys! Action packed excitement on the track tonight 🇺🇸

1st Heat - Cole started P6 finishing P5, 2nd Heat Easton stared P6 finishing P7. Feature- Cole started P9 finishing P5 and Easton Started P12 back to the back of the pack and made his way back to 12th! He sure was coming alive out there 🫣😱.

Overall a good night without any broken parts! Cole mans heat start was a total crap shoot to say the least…. but finished 3rd. Started P8 in the feature finishing P7 out of 13.

Easton started both heat and features working on finding his sp*ed, navigating the fast cars zooming by and holding his line!

Season opener is this weekend!!!

The Conrad Clan however will not be in attendance 😞… Epic mom fail, Cole’s new belts were not ordered 🤯. So we are gearing up to start the 15th.

Cole super excited to get back on the track and Easton’s looking forward to seeing what that feels like.

Sunday Funday! Easton did awesome for his first MX race going 10-10 for 10th place and 8-0 in the last class.

Cole started P4 and worked hard to take 3rd place at the checkered flag.
