I am 100% convinced that our emotions (energy in motion) are strong messages that help guide our behaviours. Feel happy - do more of what makes you happy. Feel sad - do less of what makes you feel sad - to put it simply. What about pain though?
I think pain (both physical and psychological - which are the duality of your structure) helps us realign and shift towards our purpose in life. Sometimes pain can be self-inflicted and sometimes it can be external. Either way all we can do is take control of what you can take control of, which, for most of us, are the hundreds of choices we make everyday.
In 'The Queen's Gambit' Beth, through a journey of malevolence and despair, used her pain to reach her highest potential in chess.
When you take responsibility and control of your daily small habits I wonder how that may even change the way you can deal with those external uncertainties?
In 'The Queen's Gambit' Beth was frustratingly curious to get into chess which kickstarted her long and successful journey to the top. What does your curiosity tell you? What are you not pursuing because of your barriers to explore and be creative?
Take one small step closer towards something you're curious about today and see how you feel.

Are you feeling like you aren't getting the most out of your life?
Actively taking the step to care for yourself is hard but it's a hell of a lot harder to continue taking on life without taking care of yourself. Coaches are fantastic facillitators in supporting people to achieve the things that they really want to achieve.
If you have been thinking about making the most of your life or having a bit more clarity on how you would like your life to be then there is no time like the present to seek help. You don't have to do it alone.
Coaching can provide a solutions-focused approach to the therapuetic relationship which can have you seeing results and behaviour change in your life sooner than you think.
Coaching services that I offer are Life Coaching, Mental Game (Peak Performance) Coaching and Teen Coaching.

Racism and discrimination has to STOP!!
I have decided to use my podcast as a channel to voice the stories of Indigenous Australians β Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Ignorance is a choice when information is abundant in 2020! Itβs time that we all shut up, listen and research the story of black lives in Australia and take a huge leap forward to ELIMINATING RACISM for our future generations.
To get things started I have Kelly E on the episode who bravely shares her story and traumas so that everyone can be a little more understanding, empathetic and compassion towards Indigenous Australian People.
If you are interested in creating more fire and strength behind this movement then please watch/listen to Kellyβs story and listen to the ways of how you can help. Click on this link for a list of fundraisers, websites and resources on how to learn more, support and make change in a positive direction to ELIMINATE racism.

Have you ever looked back on something negative in your life and felt grateful that it happened to you? πββοΈπββοΈ
Gratitude is one of the most effective antidotes to negative feelings or experiences. I love a concept by Eric Edmeades known as 'The Hindsight Window' which describes that period between a negative event and when we realise the gratitude for what that event taught us. π
'If you show resentment for the past it creates fear for the future but when we show gratitude for the past it shows as faith for the future' - Eric Edmeades. π

I am so excited to host Matt James Connolly on The Common Unity Podcast later this week. I am going to pick his brain with some of the most common barriers that we have around self-belief, self-talk, will power, and losing weight/gaining muscle.
