Today was the first weekday morning I wasn’t entirely nap trapped. Don’t get me wrong, I’m taking fullllllllll advantage of all the contact naps - it’s somehow already been almost 6 weeks, and the newborn phase is somehow almost over 😭. But being hands-free, having a warm coffee & breakfast was pretty cool. Gotta appreciate the little mom wins!!

The easiest way to incorporate character on a budget? Carefully thrifted items! Mixing the old with the new. It took me months to find this dresser, but bless Facebook Marketplace. It’s definitely up there with my top favorite finds, a close second to my dining table. Books are always an easy one! & that cool little box.. I had no clue what it was meant for but it fits our Polaroids perfectly.

There’s nothing like a good transformation while saving a couple dineros! Over grouting the stone was the perfect solution for our home. Sometimes you gotta just roll with the goods you already got.

My inner child is dying inside thinking how annoyed Buby (my dad) would be if he saw me and baby sitting on our new countertops. Growing up, this behaviour was a huge NO 😂
