“Intertwined”
This piece represents the tree of life. Known for connection through all phases of life. The leaves I use to symbolize many eyes as we learn our way through life. The tigers eye crystal is known for being the crystal of protection. Set within as a pupil to the eyes to give protection during the chapters of life. The string braided limbs of the tree to resemble out connected and intertwining experiences. Tied together and spread through the roots to move through the cycle again.
I am in pure bliss still with this new piece. I was so happy with the way this beauty came out.
The tree of life is such a strong symbol to life. It was such a special process to make and I truly felt a connection as I finished it. The accents of Tiger Eye crystal beads combined with the burnt orange has to be one of my favorite combinations, although it is so hard to capture the shine the crystal gives off. ✨

My newest piece, “Revival”.

The spiral ls in this piece represent the constant turning of life, adding to the beauty of the journey. The long cords water falling in layers remind us to let all things flow. The special touch of the added crystal in the middle. It’s sitting in the shape of an eye meant mimic a pupil. The crystal is a Tangerine Quartz which is great for healing the past and moving forward. It helps us look past the chaos in the world and see the true the true purpose.

I love the layers and textures in this piece.

2020 has seriously stunted my creativity. However, I am so thankful for those who are continuously inquiring and supporting me on my creative journey. I am still here and am in the process of making my biggest macrame commission yet. I can’t wait to finish it and can feel the last parts are *finally* in motion. I have learned so much with this project and it has projected me out of my comfort zone. I hope all is well out there for all of you 🧶

I’ve been working on a wall hanging pocket for my remote control. With two toddlers I am constantly losing it but now I have this cute wall hanging to put it in. I added a crystal necklace to see how it would look in the middle and I’m in love. Where do y’all get your crystals? Since it really isn’t the time to go shopping I would love to hear some online or small shops :)

I’ve been so quiet on here lately. Basically non existent! But for a good reason. I will soon be able to start my orders again, I just finished this one and I love it! The order was described as “think long tail coming out of your pocket” 😅 18 inch keychain 🤘🏽

When I look at this pieces I see 3 women dancing under a diamond sun. Do I sound crazy? Imagination does wonders because now I really can’t unsee it 😅

Side note: This took me FOREVER to unravel the cord to make a single strand, macrame community is there anybody who has a recommendation for single strand cord??

Progress.

Morty was getting real fiesty with my strings so I made him a makeshift toy to distract him. I don’t think it’s working that great 🤷🏽‍♀️

Excited to try this beautiful mustard color yarn!

My first pacifier clip is completed. Yes that’s my cat being an adorable model. No it’s not actually clipped onto his fur.

I made my first little coin purse! I also made it big enough to hold your cards 🌿 I already see where I can improve next time, maybe try a smaller bead or different type of fastener. Anyways I’m kind of obsessed with these little things 😻
