The beginning of beekeeping season 2023 has me contemplating how healing is all around us. It’s everywhere. The mushrooms growing on a log, the bees pollinating a flower, the “weeds” popping up in your yard. All it takes is a brief pause, a moment to ground yourself, and really look!
Also, I’m so excited to continue learning and developing my beekeeping craft in 2023!

On the apothecary side of this small business, I am making Chakra roller blend sets for a local store! We are going to put it to the test-gemstone roller bottles or the rainbow frosted glass ones? Which will come out as the preferred choice???

Who knew beekeeping would take me down the science rabbit hole?! Three years ago when I started this, I thought it would be a fun hobby. 25 hives later and I now know just how much I DON’T know about bees! The more you learn, the less you know…and the funniest part of this paradox is the bees don’t read the books, so they do all sorts of bizarre things that the books can’t prepare you for!
As Abraham Hicks says, “Experience teaches, words don’t”. But the words do help. The science informs the decisions, and I do strive to be the best beekeeper I can be for my 25 hives and counting.
