El debate de la ausencia de músicos en el escenario me aburre.
Supongo que no es mas que miedo a no entender lo que está sucediendo. Clásico mecanismo para no sentirte fuera. Rechazarlo.

Qué mal me cae la sospecha que sobrevuela siempre sobre cualquier propuesta que trasciende y cuánto bien nos haría ir abandonando poco a poco ese complejo que tanto nos caracteriza. La envidia.

In the 1960s, College of Marin alumna Lisa Law, with camera in hand, seemed to catch everyone experiencing the flower-powered, alternative lifestyles of the time. Actor Dennis Hooper once commented, “Every time I turned around, she was there with her camera.”

She chronicled the concerts of Monterey Pop, Woodstock, and the Beatles performance at Cow Hollow in San Francisco. She took pictures of iconic performers, such as Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. She captured artists, poets and activists, such as Coretta Scott King, Cher, and Ken Kesey on his bus “Further” to New Mexico. She photographed the first tipi going up at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and snapped distinctive images of Woodstock.

While she didn’t realize at the time that she was collecting quintessential images of her generation, the importance of her earlier work blossomed once she decided to make a living as a photographer. She was quickly recognized as one of the prominent photographers of the 60s. Her work can be seen in the Smithsonian Museum of Art in Washington D.C., and as a part of their online collection.
