"i have feelings'' is an adult coloring book filled with sketches created by the author over the course of many years. Author and artist, michelle saiyed, has always kept a sketchbook throughout her life-- finding it helpful to expel any overwhelming emotion or worry through drawing and illustration. During especially anxious times, michelle found a great deal of comfort in adult coloring books. The predetermined guidelines provided stability, while the spaces in between provided a safe place to express, devolve, and divulge. michelle wanted to give back to her community, especially during these times of both social and civil unrest. Unrest which has led many, especially those in the black and brown communities to feel the difficult emotions of anxiety, fear, and grief. This coloring book serves as a tool to help deal with these emotions. "i have feelingsā is created out of illustrations from michelle's sketchbooks throughout the years; some over a decade old and some newly born. With over 70 pages, each page demonstrates a different feeling, a new frustration, or a confusing thought. It is available in both physical copy (limited availability) and digital copy. Use these pages to dispel your anger, exclaim your frustration, and calm your mind.
100% of profits from your purchase will be donated to The Leadership Conference Education Fund. This fund is dedicated to building public will for laws and policies that promote and protect the civil and human rights of every individual in the United States.
