So when I learned about this research by Albert Mehrabian, the words, ‘You cannot not communicate’ made all sense.
That’s the power of non-verbal communication.
As per this formula, 7% of the communication is based on the words spoken, i.e. the Actual Verbal Communication.
38% is the Tonality used, i.e. the pitch, tone of the voice while conveying those words.
Lastly, 55% of the communication is connected & conveyed through the Body Language, like facial expressions, body movements, gestures, etc.
So 93% of the communication happens out of one’s awareness and is actually non-verbal.
As Peter Drucker quoted,
The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn’t being said!
Surprisingly most of us focus always on the words said.
As much as the words matter, so does your body language, gestures, facial expressions & the tone in which you put those words forward in any conversation.

More than staying positive all the time, it’s about handling positively, the negatives of life.
Life’s ride can sometimes be like a pleasant swing & some other times, feel like a roller-coaster.
So it’s natural to feel negative emotions when unexpected things happen.
Handling life’s negatives positively doesn’t mean ignoring them or pretending they don’t exist.
It’s about developing resilience, maintaining a mindset that allows you to face the challenges strongly.
It’s often impossible to maintain a constant positive outlook during challenging times.�Just, how You handle & respond to the negatives in life significantly impacts your overall well-being & how you are growing in life.��Here are some ways You can practice & incorporate to create your own approach :
• Accept that setbacks, difficult times, are a part of life.

Howsoever we want to make things go our way & control everything around, it is important to realize that it can be quite straining.
Thus, we should focus only on what’s more controllable and let go of the rest.
For example, You cannot control how others think, feel, or behave, but you can definitely control your own thoughts, actions, behaviors, & responses.
By being mindful of your own actions and reactions, you can add immense value to the quality of your life.
Similarly, what’s happening around us isn’t in our control, i.e., the situations we get into.
Whereas how we choose to respond in those situations & create what kind of experience for ourselves, is totally in our control.
So no matter what happens outside, you can always choose what happens inside You during that happening.

For a relationship to last long & stand strong, what’s more important & essential is beyond LOVE ❤️
Ofcourse, everything starts with the feeling of Love, the meaning of which maybe different for each one, yet its essence remains the same.
Personally, what I have learnt through my experiences when it comes to a romantic relationship, there’s so much more than Love when You are sharing Life with someone.
At different destinations in this journey, different feelings & emotions take over!
Sometimes, it’s all about having Patience when there’s nothing you can control.

जितना आसान इनका जिक्र करना है, उतना ही मुश्किल इनके रास्ते पर चलना है।
The easier it is to mention these words, the more difficult it is to follow their path.
पिछले कुछ वक्त से हर पल इन्हीं शब्दों को साथ रखा है और इनके सही मतलब का एहसास हुआ है।
From quite sometime, these words have been with me every moment & I have realized their true meaning & feeling.
मैंने तो बस ज़ाहिर किया कि कैसे भी वहां जा पाऊं,
और उन्होंने कुछ ही दिनों में रास्ता बनाकर खोल भी दिया।
Just randomly I wished for somehow being there,
And within a matter of few days he opened all the ways towards him for me!
हां उस रास्ते पर कहां तक जा पाऊंगी, इससे आखिर तक अनजान थी।
बस कुछ था, तो वो था विश्वास और मम्मी पापा का साथ।
I was really unsure of how far I would be able to go ahead.
But what remained with me, was Believe & at every step, my parents standing beside me!
मांगा कुछ भी नहीं फिर भी बहुत कुछ से ज्यादा दे दिया।
तब समझ आया,
I asked for nothing & yet got much more than a lot!
That’s when I understood,
कुछ तो है जो वहीं मिलता है।
कुछ तो है जो बस वही दे सकता है।
There’s something which can be found only at his abode!
There’s something which only he can bestow!

More than 24 hrs without phone, yes literally WITHOUT A MOBILE PHONE📱
More than 48 hrs of no access to so many apps & information which primarily feels important these days!
More than 5 days of experiencing an era which had limited technology & communication options ☎️�
No instant replies!
No instant payments!
No instant information!
No one tap or single click!�
The only option was to access through laptop 💻 & that again whenever convenient, & most importantly, only for whatever I could remember the password 😄
How much ‘digitally dependent’ we have become that even imagining a day without the phone might feel incomplete & inconvenient.
Well honestly, initially, it was the most relieving & calming experiences lately for me personally ☺️
For almost a day, it felt so good to experience that era again when I was introduced to technology & internet!
The charm of how limited & valuable they were 💌
Those times when there wasn't this continuous, irrelevant scrolling & there was a limit to internet surfing 🛜
Ofcourse there were moments where it felt as if something important is missing from the routine, but that disconnection actually made me realize what’s actually important & with what I should be more connected 💟
It was a reminder of how we can live without always holding on to something!
It was a reminder to keep letting the unnecessary go ☯️

The world is evolving constantly & how!
That’s the reason why it's easy to get trapped & always wanting to have more of anything & everything.
Well, what’s extremely important is to actually take a step back & appreciate what you already have!
By focusing most of the times on what you want, the things you already have are neglected, leading to feelings of dissatisfaction & disappointment.
Whereas when your mindset shifts towards appreciating everything around, You are more contented, fulfilled, happier & resourceful ✨
Gratitude is the only attitude You have 💌
Take some time each day to reflect on the things in life that you are grateful for, whether it's your health, family, work, small or big wins during the day, or even the tiniest & simplest pleasures like your favorite food, a calming walk, a good sleep, or anything which gives you more joy.
So what are the best things that happened today?
Whether a marriage is love or arranged, it ultimately is a partnership where You share Life with another person 🤝
At times, there might be less sunshine, & that’s when you have to remember that even the sunsets are beautiful 🌅
It is important to acknowledge & accept each other's differences so that You can work together whenever there are any challenges.
Just find the middle ground in situations where there is difference of opinion.
Respect each other's opinions, beliefs, & most importantly, values, even if they differ from yours.
Embracing these differences, your partner’s preferences, strengthen the relationship & create a deeper understanding, appreciation for each other 💖
And lastly, TALK IT OUT !
There’s a strong reason why Communication is always given so much of importance & considered as one of the strongest pillar in any relationship 💬
So have those conversations regularly & really, sincerely, listen to each other.
That’s how You will understand different perspectives.

What’s your Quick-fix?
Being vulnerable is often considered as a weakness.
Recently I read about the 'Vulnerability Loop' by Jeff Polzer.
Through different experiments, he discovered that when people are open to share their flaws and be honest about their imperfections, it actually builds trust in relationships, be it personal or professional.
It makes the overall environment more secure for people to share & be their authentic self.
And that's the reason I'm writing this post.
Believing, that if a person is vulnerable enough in expressing their true thoughts, those expressions can actually give strength to others.
It validates that they can also be vulnerable & honest enough to accept & express their true thoughts, feelings & experiences 💖
People often feel surprised as to how can I feel overwhelmed even after studying so much & also practicing when it comes to human behaviour & their emotions.
Well the first thing which comes to my mind is, it's similar to asking a doctor, how can she/he fall ill?
Or asking an advocate, how she/he can have a personal legal matter?
We all have our shortcomings, our weak moments, challenges & struggles.
The dynamics of life are similar for everyone.
If a person is vulnerable enough to share their experiences & lessons, which ultimately serves as willpower for others, then it's one of the biggest power ✨
That's a sign of better self-awareness.
That's a sign of being mindful of one's needs.
That's a sign of being observant of one's boundaries.
That's the sign of a strong Human Being ✨
So yes, at times there's lack of balance between feeling overwhelmed & underwhelmed personally.
And in those moments, what's most important is to just gather myself, resolve & move forward with all the courage 💖
The only reminder I give myself is, YOU HAVE TO WIN!
Even if it takes a little more time, trust me, let it be, because You are not the only one, it's there with almost everyone.
