To all my friends and readers who have been SO patient, here's my long-awaited announcement! My next Forensic Instincts novel, At Any Cost, will be released on March 22nd, 2022! Your enthusiasm and good wishes have cheered me on to the finale! I'll soon be giving you a peek at the exciting cover, so stay tuned!

I know I haven't posted in ages. As it has been for everyone, this has been a very tough year for me. I appreciate all your messages checking up on me-- I have really great readers & friends. I also appreciate your patience. I'm doing the best I can to rekindle my creative muse, and, hopefully, I will soon be continuing to work on my next Forensic Instincts book. I just want you all to know that I wish you and yours a healthy and loving Thanksgiving!

I'm just checking in with my Facebook friends and readers to see how you're holding up during this horrific crisis we're going through. I'm tremendously thankful that my family and I are well and totally sequestered in our house. I pray that you and yours are, too. I think of you all as I write a little bit every day, although my own fears make it impossible for me to concentrate for long periods of time. I'm grateful for every positive in my life (including the rolls of toilet paper I still have left), and I thank you all deeply for your excitement over NO STONE UNTURNED. Reading your enthusiastic emails and Facebook posts are more uplifting than I can express. It's knowing that my books bring you some solace that keeps me writing each day. Please stay well, stay at home as much as possible, connect with others via texts, phone calls, emails, social media-- whatever works best for you, so that you don't feel alone. And send prayers, thanks, and gratitude to our wonderful and sacrificial first responders who give so much to so many. May this nightmare end soon, may the sick get well, and may the healthy remain that way.

A lot of you have been asking me about the delay in the re-releases of LEGACY OF THE DIAMOND and THE BLACK DIAMOND (both in paperback and eBook formats). I apologize-- believe me I'm as frustrated as you are. But there are production problems at our end. All hands are on deck, working hard to get things back on track. So please be patient (something I never am!). I'll let you all know as soon as the books become available.

I realize I've been absent from Facebook for months now, and I apologize. It's been a very difficult time for me personally. I just wanted you all to know that I am working on the next Forensic Instincts thriller and that it will be released in March 2020. I'll keep you posted with updates!

Sorry, all. Not a great writing day. I took a nasty fall yesterday and while my whole body is a mess, my right arm and hand took the first hit. So they're swollen and throbbing. I'm pecking at the keyboard just to eek out a paragraph. Here's hoping for fast healing-- Forensic Instincts needs me!

I'm like an octopus with eight arms trying to get a million things done! Racing, racing, racing. FINALLY it's back to my writing (and my coffee, which is now cold) so I can see what the Forensic Instincts team is up to and to do my best to keep up with them-- because they're also racing, racing, racing...

From me to all of you-- have a special, joyful Valentine's Day, filled with love, laughter, and lots of chocolate!

Thank you all so much for your get-well wishes. I wish I could say I'm better, but now that the virus itself has hit the road, I'm left with a severe electrolyte imbalance that makes it impossible for me to get up or do anything except eat and drink the right things to rectify it. Yesterday was scary-- I almost fainted in the shower, so it was back to bed for me. Please share some happy news, stories, or events with me. I'd love to read some cheerful things to get my mind off of this. I WANT TO WRITE SO BADLY!!! But the dizziness precludes it. I've never had a lot of patience, and this is really trying mine. So bring on the good stuff-- and no horror stories about noroviruses or electrolyte imbalances please!

I didn't want you to think I've forgotten keeping you up to date on the upcoming release of DEAD IN A WEEK. I've had the most horrific norovirus imaginable and I've barely been coherent. I truly can't remember being this sick in ages. Thankfully, it seems to be on its way out. I'm holding down liquids now and hopefully trying some toast and jelly tonight. As soon as I'm myself again, I'll continue to keep you posted. Thanks for understanding!
