Hi everyone. I would like to thank everyone who showed their support over the weekend in our closing down sale. Overwhelmed at the show of support and gratitude from all our customers in Alyth for the last 6 months. I want you all to know that we appreciated your kind reviews and praise for our food and service during our time at the shop in Alyth. Onto a new path now but will never forget our time in Alyth and the life lessons and experience gained from the venture into the unknown. The page will be kept open and please feel free to message me for any questions or queries in regards to the lease or items for sale or even just to ask for recipes for any of the goodies enjoyed by all over the last 6 months. Morning everyone we will be open at 10.30am today. If yesterday is anything to go by we opened at 9.30am and sell out was just before 12pm, and we had more to sell believe it or not than we have ever had to sell before. Shows you the difference half price makes. Same again today except there are only cakes and bakes to sell. We have iced ginger, caramel shortcake, Mars rocky road, mini egg nests, white chocolate and raspberry and strawberry cheesecake combo boxes, steak bakes, chicken and bacon bakes, chicken tikka bakes and sausage rolls. 10.30am till sell out. Now mind there is a cup final kicking off at 3 and I have 10 minutes drive home to the telly 😉😏🥴😆😆

Morning everyone we are open till sell out today. No breakfasts or breakfast rolls today( saving what’s left for the weekend). Still have wraps toasties and baguettes. On the bakes we have sausage rolls, steak bakes, chicken and bacon bakes and chicken tikka bakes. On the cakes we have a galaxy far far away, the rocky horror crunchie show and we’re going on a egg hunt. Morning everyone. Last week open this week. Here’s how it’s going to be. Today will be the last day of pies. There will be bakes and sausage rolls available the rest of the week. There will be no macaroni this week, no soup, no burgers and no chips. Everything else will be available. Saturday and Sunday I am gonna make the largest amount of Cakes and cheesecakes I have ever made in my puff. Everything in store Saturday and Sunday will be half price. As you know there’s no half measures at Kenny’s Bakes so let’s go out with a bang 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

When you’re at the end of the road there is nothing wrong with admitting you took the wrong road and looking back to see how far you came down it. It saddens me to say that this Sunday will be the last day of Kenny’s bakes in Alyth. Although it has been an amazing experience with life lessons that we would never have learned without taking on the challenge unfortunately all good things come to an end. The times we are currently in are difficult for everyone and although the shop has been reasonably successful it hasn’t been successful enough to pay myself a wage for the amount of hours that I am putting into running the shop and making up the orders for other customers. After being offered a great job today with holiday pay and other benefits that the shop will never be able to provide me with I have made the easy decision to accept the offer and the difficult decision to close the shop. The last day of trading will be Sunday 26th of February. Everything will be half price on Sunday. I would like to thank everyone for all their support over the last 6 months and would like to say we are sorry that we couldn’t make it work in These tough times 🥺😢 💔 💔💔

Morning everyone. Nice day outside today although it’s cold and a wee bit windy. Luckily the wind can’t get through the walls here so it’s relatively cosy in here. Plenty on the go today, we have sausage rolls, steak pies, steak bakes, macaroni pies, sausage,bean and cheese pies and bakes, chicken and bacon bakes and chicken tikka bakes. Morning everyone we are open til 2. New sign up outside now. Quite small but better than what we had, Maxine always tells me size doesn’t matter anyway and I 💯 believe her 😏. Plenty on the go today for pies and bakes and we are now stocking ribena and oasis for anyone looking for an alternative to a fizzy drink or water. Just an update on upcoming holidays. We have decided to close the shop today as we have hospital appointments in the afternoon and need to catch up on admin this morning. We will closed on Saturday 11th and Wednesday 15th for holidays. Normal service will resume after these holidays. We will update you all on future holidays as they come up.
