Well y’all, we have bad news for our SLC friends who were looking forward to our set on Sunday… last night, our drummer Mikey sustained second-degree burns to a large portion of his left hand, leaving him unable to wield a drumstick until it heals. As such, we will be unable to perform as planned. On a positive note, friends in the absolutely phenomenal thrash metal outfit Deathblow are graciously stepping up to the plate last-minute and taking our spot. Thanks for your understanding, we’ll make it up to ya once Mikey’s healed up and able to rock!

We have a much-needed day off today, so for our friends back home in Salt Lake City, we wanted to let you know that the illustrious Proper Brewing Co has a Visigoth-inspired beer called ‘Dungeon Master’ (named after our song which apparently was blasted often by the brewmasters during the brewing process) available on draft at their downtown taproom location! It’s a wonderful medium-bodied kölsch with a light but rich flavor profile that we found to be irresistibly drinkable. Check it out while we’re on the road and let us know what you think! 🍻

Last night we had a blast playing all early material from the Final Spell EP and The Revenant King for you, and tonight will feature newer material from Conqueror’s Oath and the Bells of Awakening 7”. Last time we were in Stuttgart, we stopped by Second Hand Records and loved it, so Jake swung by again tonight before the show and bought a grip of records. Killer haul altogether, and the second photo is the top score of the night - a near-mint 1984 first pressing of OSTROGOTH’s killer ‘Ecstasy and Danger’ LP!! Classic and essential Belgian steel!

Kassel, thank you so much for rocking with us! It was a banger!! We’ve absolutely loved sharing the stage with Sanhedrin for the last few nights and we wish them the best as they part ways with us to embark on their tour with Ross The Boss Band. We’re now on our way to a sold out show in Stuttgart at Schwarzer Keiler which will also be the last on this run with our friends in Fer de Lance, so let’s give ‘em a send-off to remember! The storm rolls on!!

Fire in the Mountains update! We WILL be playing our set this evening! Andy “The Chronomancer” Patterson of The Otolith also happens to be the sound engineer who recorded both of our full length records and our most recent EP, and he has offered to play the drums for our set from memory! It’ll be an adventure - and absolutely beats not playing at all by a long shot! See you tonight! ⚔️

We are deeply saddened to announce that we will be unable to perform at Fire in the Mountains festival on Sunday. Our drummer caught COVID just a few days ago and is experiencing severe enough symptoms that we cannot in good conscience participate in the festival or put his health at further risk. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to make it up to all of you in the near future!

As many local to Utah know, Kevin Kirk is the owner of the absolutely iconic The Heavy Metal Shop in the heart of downtown SLC and a long-standing pillar of our music community. With heavy hearts, we regret to say that Kevin’s beloved wife Angie unexpectedly passed away recently. In solidarity, Salt City Productions is hosting a fundraiser benefit show on July 15th to assist the Kirk family with related expenses. We will be performing alongside legendary SLC street punk band Endless Struggle and occult biker rock’n’roll band Darklord at Aces High Saloon with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Kirk family. This will be our first live show since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and after various serious illnesses, injuries, and health issues in the Visigoth camp holding us back, we are finally ready to get back to playing heavy metal rock’n’roll for y’all. Let’s pack the place and show the Kirks how deeply our community appreciates them!
