What does school or teaching look like for your household?
Creating bubble foam paint…
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup dish soap
Mix til it’s a foam
Place in containers add in some old paint brushes and hours of fun will be had…
Note if you have a bubble machine the bubbles then stick to the solution foam mix and add extra play
The kids loved the shapes the bubbles made when they landed in the foam mix
Making our own flower seed bombs today!!!
So we can spread them and watch them grow into tons and tons of flowers 🌸💕💕💕
If you want to do it yourself it’s easy
Water
Good soil
Air dry clay
( mix all that up to a moldable paste mixture)
Roll out some balls
Finger hole in the center
Place your seeds inside
Close it up
We wrapped ours in paper bag strips to help keep the shape
Place in a sunny area out of the rain to dry ( 2-3 days)
And done…
They are able to be thrown anywhere you want to see flowers grown!!!
Great for the kids to do and it is messy but so worth it!!!
Enjoy!!
Today’s episode of preschool day 1
Well it went accordingly 😂😂
Pre school is starting this week here at home and the kids are so excited!! Stay tuned for activities and things you can do at home with your little ones!!!
Here is the inside sorry it is small and I am big inside of it hahaha😂🤦♀️
But I got baskets and attached them for the kids to put things in it and play and put pretty flowers for some color and as you can see the curtains aren’t anything spectacular but it works for outside play!!
So I wanted curtains and couldn’t find what I needed this is as easy as fabric pre cut from Walmart( 5$) the smallest curtain rods(2$ for a 2 pack) cut them into 8 sections out of the yard of fabric and hot glued pockets for the rods!
I also ordered solar fairy lights 2 pack from Amazon and attached them on the outside and then I made a ball chandelier out of the second strand inside the cabin!!
Super easy and let me tell you the kids are doing great and loving it
The floor I bought carpet samples from dollar tree and lined the bottom so they have carpet! I did order a cheap (10$) corded wall mount phone from Walmart as well for the inside super easy super cute and all the flowers were either Facebook market place or dollar tree or Amazon
We did some outside learning
And I think it was a big hit
🙌 who else agrees!!
I am starting to gather books for the kids and base crafts and activities off of these books… if you have any preferences of books or want me to do some crafts and ideas to do with your toddlers feel free to leave a comment of the book and author or a picture of the book and I will start to post these crafts!!!
I found these really neat free printable pre k flash cards and wall posters online free... i am waiting in my laminate sheets to come on Monday and I just made awesome cards from home! Best part is the kids can use a dry erase marker on them and practice writing

cute little idea I found to do with the kids since fall is almost here...
Hanging Leaves
When dipped in wax, colorful leaves can be preserved through this season and beyond. We clustered a group to suspend in a window perfect for greeting visitors. Stands of monofilament keep them from falling a second time.
MATERIALS
Colorful leaves
Bleached beeswax
Double boiler
Monofilament
Clothespins
Slowly melt bleached beeswax over a double boiler; never allow the wax to boil. Dip leaves in wax one at a time, holding by stem. gently shake off excess wax.
Hang leaves on clothespins to dry. Some may be dipped again, depending on the desired look; let dry between coatings. Hang finished leaves from lengths of monofilament.
Diy mud kitchen for the summer time win. So simple and easy to make. Just use materials that you already have and then the dollar tree for the odds and ends. Funnels with an old cut off piece of hose.. is a huge hit with the kids. Best part is this is great for all ages!
Easy clean up air dough
Shaving cream a little water food coloring and cornstarch
( I started with one part cornstarch and 3 parts shaving cream and a little water, then added cornstarch to get it to a nice molding consistency)
Its messy to make but easy to clean up I promise
Here is a little video of what we did
----->Explaining COVID-19 to kids
So I found this pretty neat website ( https://kidshealth.org/en/kids/coronavirus-kids.html ) it is so easy to explain what is going on and how to properly keep themselves and everyone else protected. It really makes it easy for kids to understand. Also I posted below a link to doing yoga at home for the kids. It might be able to help keep the stress at low levels, and if your children are as clumsy as I am, it will be a great laugh.
