So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."

👳‍♂️Ahmad ibn Yusuf Qirmani

“At the time of his father’s death, Imam Abu AlQasim Muhammad -ibn-Hasan al-Askari was five years old. Allah (swt) granted him knowledge in the same year; same as when Prophet Yahya (علیه السلام ) was awarded knowledge when he was young. He had a graceful personality and his face had light on it (These characteristics are the same as mentioned in Hadith books while describing Imam al-Mahdi). According to Shias,he vanished in a cave at Baghdad in 266 Hijri. He is a warrior and the awaited Savior, who would reappear just before Judgment day and before that he, would go into two occultations, one the minor one and the other one would be the major one. During the minor occultation, which would start following his birth, there would be contact between him (as) and his Shia, whereas the Major occultation would start after the minor one and would continue till he (as) reappears. The Shia of Baghdad had a tradition that every Friday they would mount a horse, and near the entrance of the cave, where he (as) disappeared, would shout his name before entering. Sultan Suleman Khan Usmani banned this tradition of theirs. All the scholars agree that he would reappear in the last days before judgment day, and his presence would rid the world from the dark days of oppression and tyranny. Now the remaining issue is as to which year exactly and what exact day would he (as) reappear. Regarding this issue, Abu Baser (R.A) narrates from Imam Jafar Al Sadiq (as) that Imam al-Mahdi’s (as) reappearance would be in one of the odd numbered years. It could be # # #1 or # # #3 or # # #5 or # # #9, and the day he (as) would reappear would be the Ashura day, and it would be a Yak Shanba (Friday), 10th of Muharram, and people would pay their allegiance to him between “Rukun” and “Maqam” There would be a man standing on his (as) right side, making the announcement of his (as) arrival and hearing this, all his companions would come from all four corners of the earth and pay their allegiance to him. He would fill the earth with peace and justice, the same way as it was filled with oppression and tyranny before his (as) arrival. He would then move from Mecca to Kufa, and would base himself (as) at Najaf, from where he (as) would send his forces in all four direction of the earth.

👳‍♂️Al-Dhahabi

Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Ridha ibn Musa ibn Ja'far Al-Sadiq, Aboo Muhammad Al-Hashimi Al-Husaini (a.s). One of the Imams of the Shi'a that the Shi'a believe in their infallibility. He is called Al-Hassan Al-Askari (a.s), because he resided in Samarra, because Samarra was called Al-Askar.

He is the father of Al-Muntadhar (The Awaited One) of the Rafidha. He died in Ridhwan Allah in Samarra in the 8th of Rabi Al-Aw'wal of the year 260 A.H at the age of 28 and he was buried next to his father, and his mother was a bondsmaid (female servant).

As for his son Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan (ajf), about whom the Rafidha claim that he is the Awaited Proof of the progeny of the Prophet (saw), he was born in the year 258 A.H or 256 A.H, he lived after his father two years and then he disappeared and it is not known how he died. His mother was a bondsmaid (female servant). They believe in his survival in that cellar for 450 years and that he is Sahib Al-Zaman (Master of the Time) and that he is alive and has the knowledge of the past of the future and they confess that no one has ever seen him. We ask Allah (swt) to make our intellects and Imaan firm.

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ishaq ibn Muhammad from Shahwayh ibn ‘Abdallah al-Jallab who has said the following. “Abu al-Hassan wrote to me in a letter as herein below. “You wanted to ask about the succeeding Imam after (the death) of abu Ja‘far and you were anxious about it. Do not feel sad; “God does not misguide a nation after having given them guidance until the means of piety are made known to them. . .” (9:115) Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, does not neglect the people whom He has granted guidance to go astray until He clarifies for them the means with which they can maintain piety. You master (Imam) after me will be, my son, abu Muhammad (علیه السلام ). With there is whatever you would need. Allah allows to precede whatever He wants and Allah allows to succeed whatever He wants. “For whatever sign We change or eliminate or cause to recede into oblivion, We bring forth a better sign, one that is identical.. .” (2:106). I have written enough convincing facts for the people of reason with awareness.”

He is Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Musa ibn Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Al-Hussain ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (ajf). His Kunya is Aboo Abdullah and Abul Qasim and he is Al-Khalaf Al-Hujjah (The Proof) Sahib Al-Zaman (Master of the Time), Al-Qa'im (He Who Arises) and Al-Muntadhar (The Awaited One) and Al-Taali. And he is the seal of the Imams.

Narrated to us Abdul-Aziz ibn Mahmoud ibn Al-Bazzar from ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "In the End of Times, a man of my progeny will come out whose name is my name and his Kunya is like my Kunya, he will fill the earth with justice and equality as it was filled with tyranny." So that is Al-Mahdi (ajf) and this narration is famous.

Imam Hasan Al-Askari عليه السلام had no child except than Abu Al-Qasem Muhammad Al-Hujah,then he was 5 years old when his father (Imam Hasan Al-Asgari) died . but Allah tought him wisdom and he was called Al-Qa'im Al-Muntazar.

"Al-Mahdi (ajf) is of the Progeny, from among the children of Fatimah (علیها السلام)."

(Narrated in Sunan Abi Dawood, Sunan Ibn Majah, Al-Mustadrak of Al-Hakim) from Umm Salamah.

Al-Albani: Saheeh (Authentic).

"Al-Mahdi (ajf) is from among us, the Ahlulbait (علیهم السلام), Allah (swt) will reform his affairs overnight."

(Narrated in Musnad Ahmad, Sunan Ibn Majah) from Ali (علیه السلام).

Al-Albani: Saheeh (Authentic).

"Al-Mahdi (ajf) is from me, his forehead is broad, his nose is narrow. He will fill the Earth with justice and equity, as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, he will rule for seven years."

(Narrated in Sunan Abi Dawood, Al-Mustadrak of Al-Hakim) from Abi Sa'eed.

Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from al-Fudayl from al-Harith ibn al-Mughira who has said the following. “I said to abu ‘Abdallah علیه السلام , ‘the Messenger of Allahصلی الله علیه و آله و سلم has said, “Whoever would die without knowing who his Imam is he would die as if has died in ignorance (of religion).” The Imam علیه السلام said, “That is true.” I then said, “Is it the ignorance of uneducated people or ignorance of ones not knowing his Imam?” The Imam علیه السلام said, “It means the ignorance that is disbelief, hypocrisy and error?”

👳‍♂️Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen

"His statement (the Last, Eloquent Imam): that is, from the signs of the Hour is the Imam. "The Imam (here) refers to the one who leads mankind, not (just) in salat but in government. This Imam will be their supreme Imam, as the Khalifah.

He says that he (al-Mahdi) is the last, the last of whom? The last of the Imams, because there will be NO Imam after him. As such, he is the LAST of the Imams. His name is Muhammad, and his title is "the Mahdi", meaning the one who has been guided by Allah the Almighty. This is the Mahdi who will be SENT during the End of Time, when the earth will have been filled with injustice and oppression and the truth will have been forgotten... At that period, Allah the Almighty will SEND this man as a male Imam to reform THE CREATION and to restore the truth"

👳‍♂️Al-Dhahabi

Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Ridha ibn Musa ibn Ja'far Al-Sadiq, Aboo Muhammad Al-Hashimi Al-Husaini (a.s). One of the Imams of the Shi'a that the Shi'a believe in their infallibility. He is called Al-Hassan Al-Askari (a.s), because he resided in Samarra, because Samarra was called Al-Askar.

He is the father of Al-Muntadhar (The Awaited One) of the Rafidha. He died in Ridhwan Allah in Samarra in the 8th of Rabi Al-Aw'wal of the year 260 A.H at the age of 28 and he was buried next to his father, and his mother was a bondsmaid (female servant).

As for his son Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan (ajf), about whom the Rafidha claim that he is the Awaited Proof of the progeny of the Prophet (saw), he was born in the year 258 A.H or 256 A.H, he lived after his father two years and then he disappeared and it is not known how he died. His mother was a bondsmaid (female servant). They believe in his survival in that cellar for 450 years and that he is Sahib Al-Zaman (Master of the Time) and that he is alive and has the knowledge of the past of the future and they confess that no one has ever seen him. We ask Allah (swt) to make our intellects and Imaan firm.

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ishaq ibn Muhammad from Shahwayh ibn ‘Abdallah al-Jallab who has said the following. “Abu al-Hassan wrote to me in a letter as herein below. “You wanted to ask about the succeeding Imam after (the death) of abu Ja‘far and you were anxious about it. Do not feel sad; “God does not misguide a nation after having given them guidance until the means of piety are made known to them. . .” (9:115) Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, does not neglect the people whom He has granted guidance to go astray until He clarifies for them the means with which they can maintain piety. You master (Imam) after me will be, my son, abu Muhammad (علیه السلام ). With there is whatever you would need. Allah allows to precede whatever He wants and Allah allows to succeed whatever He wants. “For whatever sign We change or eliminate or cause to recede into oblivion, We bring forth a better sign, one that is identical.. .” (2:106). I have written enough convincing facts for the people of reason with awareness.”

His Kunya is Aboo Abdullah and Abul Qasim and he is Al-Khalaf Al-Hujjah (The Proof) Sahib Al-Zaman (Master of the Time), Al-Qa'im (He Who Arises) and Al-Muntadhar (The Awaited One) and Al-Taali. And he is the seal of the Imams.

Narrated to us Abdul-Aziz ibn Mahmoud ibn Al-Bazzar from ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "In the End of Times, a man of my progeny will come out whose name is my name and his Kunya is like my Kunya, he will fill the earth with justice and equality as it was filled with tyranny." So that is Al-Mahdi (ajf) and this narration is famous.

"Al-Mahdi (ajf) is from me, his forehead is broad, his nose is narrow. He will fill the Earth with justice and equity, as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, he will rule for seven years."

"His statement (the Last, Eloquent Imam): that is, from the signs of the Hour is the Imam. "The Imam (here) refers to the one who leads mankind, not (just) in salat but in government. This Imam will be their supreme Imam, as the Khalifah.

He says that he (al-Mahdi) is the last, the last of whom? The last of the Imams, because there will be NO Imam after him. As such, he is the LAST of the Imams. His name is Muhammad, and his title is "the Mahdi", meaning the one who has been guided by Allah the Almighty. This is the Mahdi who will be SENT during the End of Time, when the earth will have been filled with injustice and oppression and the truth will have been forgotten... At that period, Allah the Almighty will SEND this man as a male Imam to reform THE CREATION and to restore the truth"

(21) Abu Ali Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Ya’qoob bin Ammar al-Kufi narrated from his father from al-Qassim bin Hisham al-Lu’lu’iy from al-Hasan bin Mahboob that Ibraheem al-Karkhi had said: Once I came to Abu Abdullah Ja’far bin Muhammad (as). While I was sitting with him, (his son) Abul Hasan Musa (al-Kadhim) came in. He was a young boy. I got up and kissed him and then I sat down. Abu Abdullah (as) said to me: “O Ibraheem, he will be your companion after me. Because of him many people will perish and others will be pleased. May Allah damn his killer and double the torment for his soul! Allah will derive from him the best of the people on the earth in his time. His name will be like the name of his grandfather. He will be the heir of his grandfather’s knowledge, wisdom and judgements. He will be the essence of the imamate and the top of wisdom. He will be killed by the arrogant of so-and-so family after some wonders because of envy. But Allah will carry out His order even the polytheists are averse. Allah will derive from his progeny the rest of the twelve inspired imams, whom He will honor with dignity of His and will place in the sanctuary of His. He, who waits for the twelfth imam and fights with him, is as if he has fought with the Prophet (صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم ) and defended him.” Then a man of the freed slaves of the Umayyads came in and Imam as-Sadiqعلیه السلام) stopped talking. I visited him eleven times wishing that he might complete his speech but I failed. In the next year I came to him. He said: “O Ibraheem, he will relieve his Shia from their grief after long strait, affliction, oppression and fright. Blessed is he, who will attend at that time! O Ibraheem, this suffices you.” I have never come back with something more pleasant to my heart and more delightful to my eye than this thing.”

⭐Sheikh as-Saduq

On this day, the people of his assembly and the elders convened to the Shaykh al-Faqih, Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (ra), and they asked him to dictate to them and describe the Imami religion with conciseness and summarization. So, he (ra) said: The Imami religion is the affirmation of the oneness of Allah, exalted be His mention, and the negation of similarity (tashbih) [to His creation] for Him, and His exclusion from what is not suitable for Him. It is the affirmation of the prophets of Allah, His messengers, His Proofs, His angels, and His books. It is the affirmation that Muhammad (s) is the master of the prophets, and that he is superior to them, and [superior to] all the Angels of Proximity, and that he is the Seal of Prophets. There is no prophet after him until the Day of the Resurrection. All the prophets, messengers, and Imams (as) are superior to the angels. They are immaculate (ma`sumin) and purified from every uncleanliness and filth. They do not consider doing neither the minor sin nor the major, nor do they commit it, and they are a safeguard for the people of the Earth just as the stars are a safeguard for the people of heaven.

...“This word in this verse has another pronunciation, the letter “Arjilikum” has a under stressor and Shias have taken their view from the same thing that it proves the fact that there is an obligation to wipe the feet since it is directly connected with wiping the head. There are certain traditions from some of the Salaf too, which prove the validity of wiping of the feet. Therefore Ibn e Jareer quotes that Musa bin Ans enquired from Ans bin Malik infront of the masses that Hajjaj bin Yousaf while delivering a speech in Ahwaaz about purity and ablution said: “Clean your hands and face, wipe your head and wash your feet, because usually feet get dirty, therefore rinse and wash the soles and feet, the heels and the upper portion of the feet”. Ans bin Malik replied: “Allah is the truthful and Hajjaj is a liar.”𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐬𝐰𝐭) 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬 ‘𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬’ 𝐀𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭.

Our opinion about the feet that Quran revealed for wiping ‘{and wipe your heads and your feet}’ whether it was recite (Arjalikum) or (Arjalakum) in both cases it is “Atf” on heads

وأما قولنا في الرجلين فإن القرآن نزل بالمسح (وامسحوا بروءسكم وارجلكم) وسواء قرئ بخفض اللام أو بفتحها هي على كال حال عطف على الرؤوس

𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 صلي الله عليه واله وسلم 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، وَالْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَلاَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إِنَّهَا لاَ تَتِمُّ صَلاَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ حَتَّى يُسْبِغَ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَيَغْسِلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ وَيَمْسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَيَحْمَدُهُ ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا أُذِنَ لَهُ فِيهِ وَتَيَسَّرَ ‏"‏

Narrated Rifa'ah ibn Rafi':

The Messenger of Allah صلی الله عليه واله وسلم said: The prayer of any of you is not complete until he performs ablution perfectly, as Allah, the Exalted, has ordered you. He should wash his face and hands up to the elbows,𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬.
Then he should exalt Allah and praise Him. Then he should recite the Qur'an as much as it is convenient for him.

'Ali bin Yahya bin Khallad narrated, from his father, from his paternal uncle Rifa'ah bin Rafi' that: He was sitting with the Prophet who said: 'No person's prayer is complete until he performs ablution properly as Allah has commanded him, washing his face, his arms up to the elbows,𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬.'"

👳‍♂️Abi Malik Al-Asha’ari

Narrated Muhammad Ibn Jaffar from narrated Saeed from narrated Qutada from Shaher Ibn Hushab from Abdul rahman Ibn Ghanam from Abi Malik Al-Asha’ary who said to his people: “Gather to pray like the prayer of the Messenger of Allah صلي الله علیه واله وسلم ”. So when they gathered he asked for a bowl of water to preformed ablution (wudhu), he rinsed his mouth, inhaled water, washed his face thrice, washed his arm thrice, wiped his head and top of his feet, then he prayed…”

The testimony of Abi Malik Al-Asha’ary that he prayed like the Holy Prophet صلي الله عليه واله وسلم and during Wudhu he wiped his feet rather than washing them is clear proof about the way of Wudhu Prophet صلي الله عليه واله وسلم had.

👳‍♂️Imam Ahmad Hanbal

It was narrated that an-Nazzal bin Sabrah said:

We prayed Zuhr with ‘Ali عليه السلام then he went to a gathering that he used to hold in ar-Rahbah. He sat and we sat around him, then the time for ‘Asr came. A vessel (of water) was brought to him. He took a handful from it and rinsed his mouth and nose, and he wiped his face and forearms, and he wiped his head, and he wiped his feet. Then he stood up and drank what was left over in the vessel. Then he said: I have been told that some men dislike anyone to drink whilst standing, but I saw the Messenger of Allah صلي الله علیه واله وسلم do what I have done

👳‍♂️al-Teyalsi

An-Nazzal bin Sabra said: “Ali عليه السلام offered the Zuhr prayer in Rahba and then he sat down to respond to the affairs of the people, then Asr prayer became due, then he brought urn of water and poured handful water and washed his face and hands, then he wiped his head and feet.”

`Uthman came to al-Maqa`id and called for water for wudoo`. He rinsed his mouth and nose, then he washed his face three times, then he washed his hands three times each, then he wiped his head and his feet three times each. Then he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلي الله علیه واله وسلم doing wudoo` like this, O people, isn`t that true? They said: Yes - i.e., a group of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah صلي الله علیه واله وسلم who were with him.

We read in Ahl’ul Sunnah’s esteemed work ‘Izalatul Khifa’ Volume 3 page 305, Bab Rasail Fiqh Umar:

“And there are many problems that arise from conflicting Hadeeth al Farooq adopted a simple method, a method that all Mujtahids follow Umar on, such as the issue of Umrah and Hajj, Wudhu and Mutah…”

We read in Tafseer Durre Manthur page 292 verses of Wudhu:

“Umar said to the Sa’d: We don’t deny that the Prophet ordered the wiping of the feet, yet can you tell us whethet after the revelation of Surah Maida he continued to wipe his feet?”

The details from Izalatul Khifa and the inference from Tafseer Durre Manthur is that the wiping or washing the feet in Wudhu was the subject of intense dispute, one that neither the Prophet (s) nor Abu Bakr were able of quelling. On the issue of wiping Umat used his famed bravery to brow beat people to wash their feet. We say that in the same way that the fiour Takbeer funeral prayer was a Bidah of Umar so was the edict to wash the feet during Wudhu.
