I'm Ash and although I am non-binary, I work in pink collar jobs and believe it is important to see the value in the work I and so many others do.

Gear-making is such an important part of the wrestling industry and it's something I am super passionate about.

A good gear-designer and maker can work with you to create a signature look. The first place many fans will see you is either social media or on posters, this means the way you look is essential to tell them as much as possible about your character before they see you in person. Your gear can tell just as much of the story as you do with your promos and in ring work.

Make sure you build a relationship with a good gear-maker (and a gear-designer) and you will be setting yourself up for success!

This set was the result of many conversations over many many months. Tarlee wanted to find a signature style and the minute she put it on, we knew this was it.
This is the exact reason I speak to return clients about their likes and dislikes in their previous gear. We keep refining and adjusting and trying new things until their gear is comfortable, flattering, eye catching and signature to them and their character.

Hey Everyone! Happy New Year!
I'm back from a bit of time off over the Christmas break and have been finalising the last few orders for January.

I will be opening my books this weekend and I have LIMITED slots available for February and March with a view to opening bookings 2 months in advance going forward.

Make sure you have everything prepared in advance. This includes any designs, high quality logos and any other information relevant to your design.

Please also ensure that you have money put aside for a deposit as this year I will only confirm clients in my books with a deposit.

I love a good coordinating set moment. was a dream client as always, providing me with detailed designs, logos, fonts and getting involved in the fabric selection and fit.

HTV has allowed me to produce decals and logos with more detail than ever before. Some of the jobs I've completed this year would not have been possible previously.

Fun fact about this pair of tights is that even though I knew was tall, my brain tried to convince me I'd got the measurements wrong because he is so tall 😅

The first half of this year has been the most hectic time in my life.
I have so many jobs that I haven't had time to post but to start, have this personal favourite set I made for Aysha - Wrestler

This set is evidence of how I constantly revise and improve on how I make my gear, going back to the first set I made Aysha, I can't believe I've come so far. Obsessed.

Happy International Women's Day. As my client base expands to beyond my local wrestling scene, I figured it was a good time to introduce myself.

My name is Ash and I am the person behind all the gear made by Pinfalls & Needles.

I've been involved in wrestling for about 4 years now but like everything I do, I went hard, training, working ring crew and film crew and front of house and door at promotions all around my state.

I studied Fashion Design and Technology and then got my bachelor's degree in Fashion in 2015 and have worked in the industry in various roles for a number of years.

One day back in 2019, I made my first pair of wrestling tights for a very young Kid Valiant - Pro Wrestler who had found out I could sew. From there, I made a few pieces for a couple of the guys from my wrestling school until the pandemic hit. Post COVID, orders have exploded to the point where my little side hustle is nearly a full time job outside of my day job.

5 years ago, I could never have imagined where I would be right now and I'm immensely grateful for the support of all my clients and friends and I can't wait to see what else the future has in store for myself and Pinfalls & Needles.

This gear is a bit of a throwback but I am still obsessed with the art that Erika Reid - Pro Wrestler added to this set. I love collaborating with clients.

Aysha - Wrestler is definitely not ensembly challenged.
I say it every time but this was the most challenging set I've made to date.

I agonised over every detail on this Clueless inspired gear and it surpassed everyone's expectations.

Thanks to KrackerJak for trusting me with the task of producing gear for such a special event.
This was well and truly outside my comfort zone but I think I stepped up to the challenge and created something really amazing.

Missed because and I had tickets to the OG Wiggles but it's good to see back in his gear.
