Xaphr

Xaphr is the solo project of New York City-based composer and synthesist Dan Mintz.

Known for his work with Va Va China and Fighter Pilot, Dan was formally trained in music technology at Oberlin College where he graduated in 2003. In 2004, Dan released Fighter Pilot with a college classmate, and then later founded the improvisational nu-jazz/electronic group Va Va China who performed extensively across New York City before Dan relocated to Brussels, Belgium.
