The ‘eponychium’, often referred to as the ‘cuticle’, has the very important job of protecting new nail growth from bacteria when they grow out from the matrix (nail root)

The skin is often very delicate and is exposed to hand washing, hand sanitizers, weather conditions etc, so can become very dry, chapped and even sore. It’s important to look after the cuticles to keep your nails healthy, a healthy cuticle promotes a healthy nail! It can also make your gel last longer and improve the appearance of your nails

It is recommended to massage oil into your cuticles at least once a day, keep a bottle by the side of your bed so you don’t forget! 💖💅🏻
