WELCOME BACK, COMPREHENIANS! Today marks the beginning of school year 2024-2025.

Mintal Comprehensive High School, greets the parents, students and teachers with a lively performance from the drum and lyre. Soon enough, the flag ceremony commenced.

This was followed by a heartfelt welcoming message from Sir Raul A. Cabilogan, inspiring everyone for the year ahead. Then, Mintaru along with the drum and lyre presented their intermission number, which turned the environment festive.

The Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) also prepared a raffle draw to serve as a greeting present for the students who came to school early.

Then, the revealing of the WATCH (We Advocate Time Conciousness and Honesty) awardees happened.

The ceremony finished successfully making the students more prepared to meet their new peers.

𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐖 | Balik Eskwela - Morning & Afternoon Update 📣

Classes are now officially opened! ✍️📝

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government organized many exciting activities for the students to join, such as bingo, a raffle draw, a shout-out booth, and lastly a photobooth.

The MCHS Drum and Lyre and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines also made the opening memorable with their welcoming tunes and helpful assistance.

For the afternoon update, the SSLG continues to engage students with more exciting activities. The raffle draw took place for Grade 8 and Grade 10 students. Many students are also enjoying the photobooth, capturing fun moments with their classmates and loved ones.

The shout-out booth remained the same with students giving heartfelt shout-outs to their friends and classmates.

With the SSLG's cooperation and effort, the first day of classes became fun and memorable for the students.

Welcome Students of Mintal Comprehensive High school! 🏫

The 29th of july is the long awaited balik-eskwela, and to greet the students of MCHS, activities will be conducted for everyone during the first day of School Year 2024-2025.

Look around and you might see yourself forming new circle of friends, enjoined to influence one another for greatness this school year. Opening a new opportunity of wisdom and knowledge, unveiling talents and skills.

𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐖 | 𝐆𝐆𝐒𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 💵

The SSLG recently conducted 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐭 (𝐆𝐆𝐒𝐒) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, that aims to raise awareness among participants about the importance of sustainability, recycling, and reducing waste. 🌸

A total earning was turned over to the MCHS administration office amounting to ₱2,106 and received by 𝐌𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 (HT-II), and 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐚 (HT-I / BE Coordinator), to be used for a certain cause .

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders who supported our Project. 🩷

Today, with the help of the SSLG, they cleaned and organized the teen center located in Building A. They proceeded to clean the room and transfer chairs from different sections. They show hard work in ensuring the space is now welcoming and functional for all students. 🧹

𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑾 | 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙛𝙛 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."

This quote encapsulated my thoughts during my interview with John Rey a utility personnel who dedicate his time to improving the school environment. When asked about why he continues to do it, John Rey said, “Nindot, gaan sa dughan kay limpyo atong skwelahan.” His dedication to keeping our school clean touched me because he was not only doing it for the money but he is doing to beacuse he knows that it will benefit everyone in school.

This reminds me of the importance of taking care of our shared spaces. By following his example, we can create a better learning environment for all. Without people like John Rey, our school wouldn't be as clean as it is today.

Another side of the story comes from a parent named Amelita, one of the many volunteers for Brigada Eskwela. When asked about what inspires her to dedicate her time to cleaning the school, she said her child inspired her to clean the school in order to give not only her child but other students a clean learning environment. I realized that Amelita's selfless love and care for her child, just like any other mother also extends to other children. It is truly inspiring and it shows us just how much a parent would do for their child.

Amelita's dedication, along with many other parents, highlights the collective effort needed to ensure a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for our school to thrive.

John Rey and Amelita’s involvement in Brigada Eskwela show that when individuals unite with a common goal, they can achieve remarkable results. This collaboration not only enhances the physical environment of the school but also encourages a sense of unity and shared responsibility among students, parents, and staff. By working together, we can create a nurturing and supportive educational environment that benefits everyone involved.

With their teamwork and effort, they swept the floor, repainted the walls and fixed things around the school, improving the surroundings for everyone.

The SSLG led the way with their activities, organizing volunteers, and coordinating. Thanks to the efforts and the support of volunteers, the school remains clean and ready for this school year. 🧹

One of the dedicated students here at Mintal Comprehensive Highschool (MCHS) has volunteered himself to serve on the 2nd day of Brigada Eskwela.

“Nag brigada ko para makatabang ko sa eskwelahan,” Angelo stated, a newly enrolled Grade-8 student. According to him, he was assigned to clean the rooms for the upcoming Balik Eskwela 2024-2025.

He wholeheartedly accept this form of service and chose to dedicatedly do his job properly. "Oo, Nag-enjoy sad ko sa brigada karun." He was enjoying his time with his other peers as they somehow formed friendship.

The absolute motive of this program is to advocate cleanliness and influence students on proper adequate, it is also a gateway for students to know his or her environment for this upcoming opening.

Today marks the beginning of Brigada Eskwela 2024, a program aimed at improving and upgrading our school environment for a better learning experience. Teachers, parents, and students gathered at the Agila Hall for the orientation meeting.

Earlier today, many guardians and students actively participated in enhancing our school's surroundings. There's a hardworking mother from another school who transferred to MCHS.

Meet Gina Sumadela, a 32-year-old mother who recently transferred from Nabunturan National High School to Mintal Comprehensive High School. She was seen cleaning a room in our campus.

"Para pud maka-tabang diri sa skwelahan sa... palambo sa kahinlo," Gina shared during an interview. She expressed her desire to make the school look good for the students' comeback. "Sa pagtabang sa paghinlo og pagtinabangay sa paglimpyo sa skwelahan," she added.

Gina Sumadela and many other dedicated individuals are proof of the commitment to maintaining our school environment.

The school believes that the Comprehenians will successfully enhance our school before the opening of classes.

This is where students and guardians influence and inhabit a clean and organized environment before the new school year starts. It is where we prepare not just our classrooms but ourselves as well for the new journey that we are going to encounter.

𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗪: 𝗠𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

The official commencement of Brigada Eskwela 2024 was declared during the opening ceremony. The event featured a well-organized program under the guidance of Ma'am Doreen O. Española, the G9 Curriculum Head, as the host.

The proceedings included the rendition of the national anthem by Hyacinth Oliva, followed by an opening prayer led by Golden Sierra B. Pait, ESP teacher.

Emphasizing safety protocols, Cydrick G. Dejito conducted a session on proper evacuation procedures in the event of an earthquake, reinforcing the importance of staying put during tremors.

Rolando E. Alcosaba extended gratitude to the parents, students, and stakeholders who are contributing to the preparation of the school for the upcoming academic year, invoking the spirit of Bayanihan.

Dejito then elucidated the scope of work, detailing the assigned responsibilities for each task essential in the school's cleaning efforts. Following this, Rommel Henson, the PTA Treasurer, facilitated the turnover of the PTA projects.

Concluding the opening program, Evangelino Salamanes, the PTA President, delivered an encouraging message of support to the parents and students participating in the school cleaning activities.
