HID Tijani Commends Governor Sanwoolu's Choice of SSA on Youth Development, Urges Strategic Initiatives for Lagos Youth Upliftment

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID), expressed commendation for the astute choice made by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, in appointing Hon. Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji as the Senior Special Adviser on Youth Development and Mobilization. HID Tijani, during the Senior SSA's familiarization visit to the council secretariat in Ijaiye, underscored the paramount importance of youth development in nation-building.

HID Tijani outlined various youth development programs and urged Hon. Alabi Opeyemi to spearhead initiatives redirecting youths away from the streets, stating, "Anything that can take our youths outside the street is welcome, and I will strongly support that." The council boss encouraged the Governor's SSA to prioritize the interests of the youth.

In response, Hon. Alabi Opeyemi assured the council of his dedication to quality development and empowerment of the youths, seeking continuous cooperation for the benefit of the state's youth population.

"The Governor has done this for us, we are grateful and we are so happy. I want all the good people of Ojokoro to come to the viewing centre and watch all the AFCON 2023 matches for free", HID Tijani said.

Ojokoro Council Boss Hosts Another Prayer for 2024, Praying for Divine Comfort and Restoration for Constituents

Again, the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID), has hosted the annual 2024 prayer session with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ojokoro chapter. It's worth noting that the chairman had previously organized a similar event for council staff.

During the session, the Council Boss prayed for the continual existence of the constituency and its environs, peaceful coexistence among constituents, and divine protection for all families within and outside the constituency. Notably, he offered special prayers for people who lost precious loved ones in the preceding year of 2023.

"I pray that the goodness and mercy of the Most High will be with us in 2024 and beyond. May God protect all families within and outside this constituency, unite us, and restore all that we have lost in the past," HID Tijani prayed.

At this solemn occasion, the CAN President, Pst. C.G Coker announced the Vice Chairman of the Council as the newest Patron of CAN and presented the 2024 calendar to the Chairman and other top stakeholders present.

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and the ever-supportive deputy; Dr. Obafemi Hamzat on the appeal court's dismissal of Labour Party/Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and PDP/Jandor cases for incompetency and lack of merit; thereby affirming again the judgment of the Tribunal returning the duo as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos State.

"Lagosians knew what they wanted and they had spoken loud and clear at the polls. It is just so unfortunate that some people want to throw a clog in the wheel of our super development in Lagos", HID Tijani said.

"Although from time we are never moved as a party because we knew that the cases have no pedigree and that is why my Governor and my Deputy Governor were never moved from time. You can see work has commenced and never stopped since they have been sworn in", Hon. Tijani concluded.

The council boss further congratulated the entire Lagosians for the victory.

Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo*; the MHR-elect for Ifako- Ijaiye federal Constituency in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly election of 25th February, 2023 hosted the Ramadan/ Prayer Lecture at his residence in Runsewe Estate, Ahmadiyyah Ojokoro today Wednesday , 6 April 2023.

The Ramadan Prayer / Lecture is an annual Program of Ojokoro Muslim Association league of Imams and Alfa’s to thank Allah for his benevolence, Offer special prayer for NIgeria, the President- elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prayer for the family and take spiritual lessons for spiritual and character development during Ramadan and post Ramadan for the good people of Ifako- Ijaiye Federal Constituency.

In his opening speech, the president Ojokoro Muslim Association League of Imams and Alfa’s, Alfa Ambali Muhammed Awwal thanks Allah for his health and success at the just concluded election and prayed Allah continues to protect and guide everyone in the constituency for a renewed hope that is about to be witnessed in the annals of democratic governance in NIgeria.
