At another holiday bazaar!
Some elves hanging out at a Christmas bazaar.
A crew of Aziraphales and Crowleys through time from season one of Good Omens. This is mid process. I’m trying to decide which era set is my favorite.
I held on to this Hamilton for a friend who has seen the musical a fair number of times. I finally ran into her. She took this nice photo of the little guy.
Meet the Hamiltons! This is the end result of my little pony-tailed army. My class learned about Hamilton as part of our study on the U.S. Revolution and I created the little Hamiltons as a memento for them. (I couldn’t resist creating a little version of Daveed Diggs’ Jefferson too!)
This little army of pegs was a fun project.
Harriet Tubman died a little more than 110 years ago. She was an American abolitionist and social activist. After escaping slavery, Tubman made 13 missions to rescue around 70 enslaved people, using the Underground Railroad. During the American Civil War, she served as an armed scout and spy for the Union Army. In her later years, Tubman was an activist in the movement for women's suffrage.
I enjoyed creating the Anne of Green Gables peg doll so much, that I did another! This one is an older version of Anne, based off the Megan Follows films.
Here is one of my recent nativities in its new home!
While she went to live in South Korea with a friend, this little Hoosier represents home. Her skirt is the South Bend city flag; she carries a posy, the Indiana state flower; she wears a shamrock for the University of Notre Dame; and her bag is decorated with the Robinson Community Learning Center logo.
Mini Ted Lasso! Who’s waiting for the next season?
Luisa from Encanto sings the older siblings anthem and we love her for it.
Some of my first pegs were these and dolls for a friends’ children. Recently, the youngest, who is three, requested a peg that reflects her maturing tastes. So my newest ear worm is now, “Hey, Gabby! Meow, meow, meow..”
