WHS Blue Jay Golf

Congratulations to Alex and Haiden for moving on to the state golf tournament next week. As a team we were only 13 strokes off the 2nd place team. The boys have made great strides this year. If they continue to push and support one another in the off season I think some great things could happen next year! Also super excited Garrett will be representing Union again for his Senior year. ❤️ all these boys!

Union Tournament happy campers!

Unfortunately I was only able to find about half of the players at the JV tournament Tuesday. I will try to get more at the other tournament if I can work it in. I had to work in the morning so I got to Wolf later than I would have liked. I struggled to identify our players. Many of the boys wore layers over their Blue Jay gear, my eyes kept watering from the wind, the coaches didn't keep a list of pairings that I cold use as an aid so I will have to try again! I was so thankful for the boys that said hi to me and shared a little info with me!

Senior Night - April 22! Celebration after the match. Doug said we could use the pavilion so if you will be brining something that is the best place to drop it off.

Just added an album of random pictures from the last 2 weeks. I played around the night of team pictures trying to get some of the boys I don't cross paths with much out on the course. I will try and find another night to get those I missed.

Help!! This Thursday, April 22nd is senior night for the golf team. I tried to get the boys to send me contact information for themselves as well as a parent but my attempt was unsuccessful. Since we didn’t have a meet the coaches night I assume due to Covid we haven’t had the opportunity to discuss ideas or plan anything together. I am hoping some parents find this message and will be willing to help give our seniors a good night. The parents purchased banners and Mary Beth (Brennan’s mom) had balloons and a few other decorations. I had a little something made as a keepsake/gift. Hoping some families will be will so donate drinks, appetizers, and $ for pizza!
