Kinda Like

I made this last week but was reminded of it today.

Most at home "detergents" are soaps. These coat the fibers of your clothing and make it harder for water to move through the fabric. Soaps may work for you if you have the perfect water hardness and your washer has the old school agitation AND your water is hot enough to completely dissolve the soap.

I would recommend finding a product that comes in a container that is recyclable or usable long term and maybe finding something listed on the EWG website if you're wanting to be more eco friendly. ❤️

Remember to wash your towels in hot or warm, dry on low. Don't use fabric softeners. Rinse in cold water immediately after use if you are concerned with stains. Shrinking and shape change is to be expected after washing.

Little one wanted to be as close to mom as she could be today. Working towards a solid neutral, double gauze, and organic drop.

Hand Foot And Mouth sores can appear lots of other places. From what I understand, anything can feel like sandpaper against the sores, so we are using our own stash of flannel Not Quite Paper Towels to help with diaper changes and wiping face.

It's been a few days since I've posted. My 2.5 year old spiked a 105 fever and it's been a weird couple of days. We'll be back to regularly scheduled shenanigans as kiddo feels better. ❤️

I've taught myself a lot of new skills since beginning work with Kinda Like. Rudimentary Product Photography is one of the bigger ones. I'm still not perfect at it and will continue learning as often as I can.

Have a giggle at this set up, I know I did.

I spend a considerable amount of my time creating for Kinda Like after my kids go to bed. As a SAHM it's the time I have. My husband helps a lot on weeknights after our toddler is in bed and often on weekends so I can spend all of my time creating.

It's exhausting, but an excited exhausting. I love it.

I'm striving to do better for our environment while starting this company.

The bags I started with, made by Scotch, are curbside recyclable! The bags I currently have from EcoEnclose are recyclable with plastic bags at stores (or can be used again!). I plan to move to padded paper bags soon that are curbside recyclable with recyclable shipping labels that come on paper that is curbside recyclable also!

A big favorite from my first ever drop is Gnomes & Plants. The biggest change I made was using black thread on them and I think it really made the print POP!

Monstera leaves are gorgeous and somewhat hard to keep alive (at least for this black thumb). These monstera leaves are forever green (get it, green, ecofriendly?😅). For the plant lovers in your life, even if that plant lover is YOU.

Dogs and plants. They are cute cute snugglers, and this fabric is almost as soft!

Hanging Plants is just gorgeous. For the plant and macrame lover in your life.

CATS AND BOOKS?! These remind me of my favorite used book stores that have cats wandering amongst the shelves and finding convenient napping spots throughout the store. What more could a cat lover ask for?!

Watercolors is such a delicate and lovely print. It definitely reminds me of all of the best parts of a sunset! Take these on your next sunset picnic or enjoy with your morning coffee as the sun rises! So many opportunities to be reminded of the beauty of nature while reducing waste.

In the world of my friends there seems to be a large intersectionality between the people who love cats and who love house plants! Care for your little memow or clean up the soil left behind after bottom watering your most dramatic plants with these gorgeous Not Quite Paper Towels!

These Bright Succulents will brighten up your kitchen and keep you in that spring mindset!

This one is a restock of a fan favorite: Camp Smore! This fun print reminds me of summer time at grandmas making smores and spending as much time outdoors as we were allowed. These would be PERFECT to wet down and wipe little faces of the ooey gooey marshmellow residue they love to smear all over!

One of my favorites from this drop is the Black Dot set! It's got two darker solids and one more neutral print. It's perfect for someone who might be on the edge of wanting a print and not.

Junk Food has been my family's favorite since my first drop and I didn't have enough for a full set. This time I wanted to make sure you could find these outside of a miscellaneous pack! I can see these making your take out evenings a bit more upscale and a lot more comfortable!
