Nathan Hutchison, the founder of Nate’s Chicks () in Madera, CA, is concluding his fifth year as an FFA ( & ) student, dedicated to hatching and raising chicks, laying hens, Cornish Cross for meat, and Thanksgiving turkeys to serve his community and its surroundings. With over 700 active laying hens under his care, Nathan ensures a steady supply of fresh eggs for customer pickup. He delivers weekly to restaurants, food trucks, and a local butcher shop, showcasing his commitment to sustainable farming and community support.
