The Midnight Bluesmen are coming back to Captain’s Den! Join us for Acoustic Night on Saturday, November 18th from 5-8pm for some nice, relaxed, bluesy tunes!

The Midnight Bluesmen return to Newport News this Labor Day weekend! Join us on the patio at Cove Tavern on Sunday, September 3rd for some live blues and rock n’ roll!

Opening the night this Friday 8/11/23 at Castleburg Brewery and Taproom! Gonna be a great night with three great bands 🎸🎸🎸

5/7/23: Anchor Launch Party
Thank you to for hosting us as a student band one last time at the Anchor Launch Party! As we enter into this new phase of the Midnight Bluesmen, we’d like to acknowledge what an honor it has been to grow and develop at Christopher Newport University. Thank you to every on-campus organization that has partnered with us in the past — we wouldn’t be where we are without you. And thanks to all who ever came to our live shows, snagged merch, streamed our music, or supported us in anyway along this special journey. Lots of love to all of you!

P.S. Though our band is moving on, we’re not splitting up! In fact, you can see us live at our upcoming show in Richmond, more about that will be shared tomorrow!

Come get your blues on! We are thrilled to announce we are kicking off April with a LIVE performance at Cove Tavern! Show is Saturday, April 1st from 6pm to 9pm — and if April showers subside you’ll find us outside on the large patio. Don’t be a fool, come enjoy some great food and drink with LIVE music!

We are thrilled to announce our very first ACOUSTIC show on Friday March 31st at The Captain’s Den as part of our two show weekend! We’ve partnered with to raise money for the American Cancer Society — 10% of sales proceeds during the event (5pm-7pm) will go directly to cancer patient support, discovery, and advocacy. (Also be on the lookout for the Bluesmen themed drink served all day that also supports the cause!) Come enjoy a great night with some great acoustic tunes!
