The beach is my happy place and I’m so grateful we could squeeze in a trip before the summer ends! It was my first time to Miramar Beach, and the water was so clear😍

Let me just say, getting the perfect angle at the Gateway Arch is for the professionals— not me😩 The time of day, coupled with just how huge this structure is makes it a difficult task for sure!
One thing I just didn’t expect was how incredibly huge this arch is. It was cool to see in person🤩

SUMMER PLANS☀️
What are yours? What exciting place are you headed to this summer?
I am finally getting to go with to watch him in his tournaments this summer🏌️
While we are visiting some lesser-travel places, we hope to make incredible memories together🚘💕
Work life gets busy = blog gets neglected… along with every other aspect of my life😅
I’m so behind with writing posts about where we’ve been lately & everything I want to share. Every time I say that I will try to manage being a teacher better with my hobbies, life, etc. I seem to fail. It’s difficult. I consistently live in a state of having things that make me happy and excited, yet having absolutely no motivation to do any of it.
I sit here with summer approaching and looking forward to a break and hopefully a time to rekindle some motivation. So where to begin? What to share on my blog? Visit the link in my bio to read what is already there! ☀️🧘🏻♀️✈️
Do you ever try not to overpack and end up realizing you did not bring enough clothes for the activities you have planned?
This was me on our honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia. I ended up wearing the same little dress almost everyday. This is why I overpack!!! 🧳😬
Where’s the perfect honeymoon destination? Is there one? 🏝️🚞
I definitely think your budget & the type of traveler you and your spouse are determine the type of trip you take! We chose island life in the Caribbean. Saint Lucia was the perfect destination for us 💙
Where did you go OR where would you go on your honeymoon?💍
ICYMI: we honeymooned in Saint Lucia this week ☀️🏖️
We had an excellent time & stayed at one of the Sandals resorts on the island. It was stress-free and we did not want to come home!!
Have you stayed at an all-inclusive before? Thoughts?
We get MARRIED this weekend!!!
We’re so excited for the celebration with family and friends. I can’t wait a lifetime of experiences and a forever travel partner💍💗
Did you know ❓❓
Joshua Tree National Park was listed as # 8 on the list of most visited National Parks in 2022!
Are you surprised or not? Joshua Tree has become increasingly popular in the last couple of years, so I would expect it to be up there among other popular parks 🥾
A view I wasn’t expecting in Joshua Tree National Park!!
📍The Keys View
This incredible view of the Coachella Valley is something you can look forward to when you visit Joshua Tree NP!
Have you ever been before?
Raise your hand if you’re looking forward to summertime 🙋🏻♀️ Warmer weather is here in Louisiana, and I’m looking forward to several weeks off to rest and relax!
Do you have summer plans yet or are you still working on them? ☀️

SAVE FOR YOUR TRIP TO SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK🌵
Did you know this park is divided into two districts? The city of Tucson separates the park into the east and west sides.
The NPS recommends that you allow about 60 minutes to travel between the two entrances! I had no idea before reading the park map! This feels like super important info to keep in mind when planning out your trip to the park.
Depending on what kind of hiker you are and what you’re interested in doing while you’re there, you may need a day in both the east and west sides of the park🥾
Saguaro National Park is so underrated!!
I’ll be honest, I was skeptical at first from other pictures I had seen before. I didn’t think there was much to the park or that it would be worth visiting. I’m SO glad we went though🌵 I just love the Saguaros and it was amazing to see so many in one place. The landscape is incredible🤩
So if you’re wondering if you should visit Saguaro National Park, the answer is YES!!
Happy Mardi Gras, from Arizona!!💚
One of my favorite things about Mardi Gras is having a couple of days off to travel🙌🏼
King Cake is another fav, however I’m very particular it😋

When there is NO parking available near the Griffith Observatory… opt for the little side trail that also has incredible views 🤩
I’d highly recommend getting to the Griffith Observatory BEFORE it opens!!! However, I was fighting a terrible migraine that entire day so just get up and out was a miracle 🙌🏼
Heading back to California this weekend ✈️ 🚙
What is your favorite region or destination in California? ☀️
I feel like there’s so much I haven’t explored that I can’t possibly decide!

I’ll admit, I’m ready to plan another trip to a snowy place ☃️ As much as I hate the cold, I love a winter wonderland❄️

SAVE FOR YOUR TRIP TO BIG BEND‼️
If you’re like me, you’re not an avid hiker. Difficult hikes aren’t my thing but I still enjoy the beauty of the US National Parks!
There are many other things in Big Bend National Park to do besides hiking. Here are a few suggestions that are for non-hikers:
- Go horseback riding
- Stargazing
- Visit Boquillas, Mexico
- Birdwatching/ wildlife spotting
- Visit Sam Nail Ranch
- Take a scenic drive
Would you do any of these if you visited Big Bend?

Why is spring the best time to visit Sequoia National Park, in my opinion?🌸
While you run the risk unstable weather conditions, you have a pretty decent chance at seeing the beautiful sequoias covered in snow! ❄️
Bonus: the park is less crowded too, spring doesn’t bring the same crowds that summer does!!
