Day 12 of What is your FAVORITE Christmas Eve tradition?
As you guys already know, this year is a bit different for our family so I'm going to share something that is new but I fully intend it to become a tradition. We're doing Christmas Eve boxes this year, one for each person. I bought special boxes and put in pajamas, a book and some snacks in each box. I'm really excited about it even though it's not anything big, but each one is special in its own way.
Comment below with your own Christmas Eve traditions. I'd love to know how you celebrate. Tag your business for a chance to win a FREE custom built website. Thank you for sharing part of your holiday with me. Have a great day and enjoy your Christmas.
Day 11 of What is your FAVORITE Christmas dish?
We don't really do a big Christmas dinner. Thanksgiving is our big dinner holiday. On Christmas, we usually have a sandwich platter and chips and dip, you know, things to snack on throughout the day. Instead we go a little bigger for breakfast with bagels and an egg casserole. But you know, we had a chance to change that this year, to actually go all out for dinner since half our family can't be with us this year, but we chose to keep it the same. It's nice having traditions even if it isn't a huge thing.

Day 10 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways! What are you MOST EXCITED about this Christmas season?
Spending time with family is always the best part of the holidays, but this year, my family is spread out quite a bit. I plan to see as many of them as possible, but unfortunately, there's no way to see them all because of location. But since this is supposed to be a happy post, I am excited that I get to spend Christmas with my brothers, grandpa, grandma, mom, and son. I also get to visit with old friends that I don't get to see the rest of the year.
Comment below and tag your business for a chance to win a FREE custom built website. Three winners will be announced on Christmas Day. Come back tomorrow for another chance to win.
Day 9 of What is your favorite Christmas memory?
When we were kids, right before Christmas, our grandparents would take us around the neighborhood to see all the Christmas lights. I liked it so much that I plan to do it with my son this year. We already found the best neighborhood. There's a house that looks like something that came out of Deck the Halls or The Grinch.
Comment below with your favorite memory. Tag your business for a chance to win a custom built website.
Day 8 of What is your FAVORITE snow related memory?
When we were kids, my sister would drag us all outside to play in the snow and make snowmen and snow angels. I didn't always appreciate it then because I would have rather read, but I'm really glad she did that. I know it's not a super detailed memory because I don't remember all the details, I just remember that it was nice that we were all together.

Day 7 of Who do you most want to spend the holidays with?
Ideally, I'd love to spend the holidays with my family the way we used to when we were kids. On Thanksgiving, our aunt and uncle and cousins came up to spend it with us and then on Christmas, our whole family came together. Now our family is spread out around the country which makes it difficult to spend it all together. Thankfully, I do get spend Christmas with my grandpa, my grandma, mom, brother and my son.
Tell me in the comments who you'd like to spend the holidays with. Make sure to tag your business for a chance to win a FREE custom built website.
Day 6 of What is your FUNNIEST holiday baking story?
After making cookies, I stopped to let the dough chill and started washing dishes. My son asked if he could lick the bowl. I told him he could when I was done. When I wasn't paying attention, he took the bowl, full of batter, and took it into the living room. I went to scoop the cookie dough and couldn't find the bowl. I found my son with the bowl, face covered in cookie batter, eating it straight out of the bowl. Needless to say, I needed to make another batch and my son had a bit of a belly ache after that.

Here's me with my favorite cup of the season (it's a naughty and nice cup lol) with some of my fav tea!

Day 5 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways! Share what you would like to get for Christmas in the comments.
Yesterday, we did your favorite present. Today, I want to know what you want for Christmas this year. My Christmas list is filled with books this year. If I had to pick just one (which is almost like choosing a favorite child lol), I'd choose Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, but it isn't just any copy. It's a special edition with handwritten letters inserted inside. Since it is my favorite book OF ALL TIME, it will make my heart happy.
Share your own wish list in the comments below and tag your business for a chance to win. Come back tomorrow for another question and another chance to win a FREE custom built website for your business. Three winners will be announced on Christmas Day.
Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways! What is the BEST present you've ever received?
Several years ago, my family pitched in to get me a KitchenAid standalone mixer. I love that thing and still use it for all my baking. Aside from the countless books I've received as gifts (too numerous to count or mention lol), my KitchenAid is definitely my favorite.
I know it can be hard to pick just ONE present (trust me, I had a hard time too), but make sure you comment below with one that stands out among all the others. To enter in the giveaway, tag your business after your comment. Otherwise, just have fun with it and share so others can participate too. Three winners will be announced on Christmas Day and will receive a FREE custom website for their business.
Day 3 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. What is your favorite holiday drink?
My favorite is a Chestnut Bourbon herbal tea that I get from The Spice & Tea Exchange in Sedona. They also have a website that you can order from anywhere. My personal experience with their teas is that I haven't found one I don't like.
Make sure to comment and tag your business below your own favorite for a chance to win a FREE website! Winners will be announced on Christmas. Come back tomorrow for another chance at winning.
Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition?
My favorite tradition is watching Elf with my family as a fire roars and we drink hot chocolate or tea and curl up with a snuggly blanket.
As a special twist, I will partake in one of the traditions you guys comment and post a picture of me doing it. So come back to see me doing one of your favorite traditions.
Comment below with your own favorite traditions and if you want to enter for a chance to win, make sure you tag your business after your tradition. If you don't want to enter in the giveaway, you can still comment.
As always, come back tomorrow at NOON to participate again to increase your chances of winning. All THREE winners will be announced on Christmas Day.
Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways
I LOVE books! I could read all day, every day, if I could. My favorite Christmas/winter book this year is a new one, The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox. I got it from Book of the Month and it is so good. If you like Hallmark movies, you'll love this one. And of course, I can't forget The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand (which doesn't sound like a Christmas book, but it's a retelling of the Christmas Carol). Speaking of The Christmas Carol... there can't be a Christmas book recommendation without the classic.
Okay, okay. I will stop there because I can get carried away with books. π€£ I can't wait to see your recommendations because without a doubt, I will read at least one of them before Christmas.
Make sure to leave your comment below and tag your business for a chance to win a FREE custom website! The winners will be announced on Christmas at NOON. So don't forget to come back to see if you won and to see tomorrow's question for another chance at winning.

I look forward to reading all your amazing memories and traditions. You'll even get to see a few of my own favorites.
This time of year has always been very important to me. I love decorating the house with lights and nutcrackers and villages. I love baking cookies with my family and drinking hot chocolate or tea while I curl up by the fire with a good book or Christmas movie. I even love the smell of winter in the air.
But the thing I love most about this time of year the overall kindness, love and gratitude that people show. I am personally thankful to have made it through my first year of being in business. I know that's something that not everyone can say, especially since the past two years have been so difficult, for small businesses in particular.
So I have decided to do a 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways because I know how important it is to have an online presence these days when there are still shutdowns and mandates that make it difficult for some people to get to a physical store.
Here's how it will work:
π Starting on December 13th until Christmas Eve, I will post a question about Christmas/holiday traditions.
π In the comments, answer the question and if you want a chance to win, tag your business after your comment.
π I will choose three winners at the end of the event to receive a FREE website (domain and hosting not included). I will announce the winners on Christmas at noon so don't forget to come back and check if you've won!
π I will DM the winners with more information so make sure you check your messages.
Since these kinds of things are so much more fun when many people participate, please share, tag people who may be interested in receiving a FREE website, and comment every day to increase your chances of winning.
I want this year to end on a good note and I can't think of a better way to do that than to help small businesses.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I look forward to reading all your amazing traditions for the next two weeks.
Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be grateful for this year.
Hey guys,
I know I haven't posted very much the last week or so and I want to let you know why.
I'll be honest, I've been very discouraged. How do you convince people that they need to invest in something when all they want is to save money?
See, when you have a business and especially if your website is crucial to your business, you need a proper website.
The DIY platforms have made millions on "a website makes it real" but what they don't tell you is that it's ABSOLUTELY not the same as having a proper website.
π You can't control SEO so your site will not be seen.
πYou get a templated website that looks cheap and DIY.
πYou don't own your website, you're merely leasing the space.
πYou can't stand out among your competition because they invested in their business but you didn't want to spend the money.
πAnd most importantly, your business won't succeed on one of those sites. Those that do are the exception, not the rule.
$900 sounds like a lot of money when you're just starting out, you haven't made much money and you're not sure if it ever will.
BUT if you go cheap, you won't make much money ever. Your business won't succeed. I'm not trying to sound mean but it's the truth.
You want to stand out? You want to make money? You want to succeed?
STOP going cheap!
I charge way less than my competitors (the ones that are worth their salt) because I want to be affordable to the small business. I love small businesses. I am a small business. I want to support you, to help you, to get you a great website so you can succeed.
Okay, my rant is over π€£
If you are ready to take the next step, ditch the crappy DIY platforms and start your journey to success, message me. I'd love to help you get started.
If you're not ready, think about what I said. Those templates aren't all they're cracked up to be. And they're painfully obvious to spot.
I want you to be a step ahead!
What is the purpose of a website?
It is a home for your business, a place where people go to see who you are, what you do, and what you have to offer.
It sells your products or services.
It provides necessary information for your audience.
If your website doesn't do ALL of these things, it isn't an effective website and you might as well not have one at all. What is the purpose of a website if it doesn't make sales? What is the point if it sits there, unused, unseen, unnoticed?
DIY platforms make millions selling templated sites that don't sell, don't get noticed, don't get seen because there is nothing good about them. You can't control what is important. You can't improve your SEO. Your audience sees your business as cheap and untrustworthy.
So what are you paying for? The illusion of affordability? Is it worth it?
I see so many people ask why they aren't making sales and when I look at their cheap website, I'm not surprised. No one is finding it. No one is trusting it. No one wants to buy from someone who cuts corners.
So what about you? What does your website look like? What does it accomplish? Do you want to save a little money or do you want your business to succeed?
Morphe Creative builds websites will get your business noticed and seen, that will sell your products and services, that will show your audience that you mean business, that you are in fact trustworthy.
Message us today to take your business to the next level, so you can be a step ahead of all the other small businesses out there who are taking shortcuts to save a bit of money.
Despite the turmoil this country is going through now, let's remember and honor the brave people who have served and died so we can keep our rights and freedoms.
We also honor the men in blue today because they have served our country faithfully despite the hate toward them.
Hi there! I'd like to tell you a little about myself and why I started Morphe Creative.
I am a single mama of a ten year old boy. I homeschool so my options for work have been severely limited. I never wanted to give up the special time I have with him because I like homeschooling.
As a result, I spent many years trying to figure out how I could support myself and my son. After looking into several stay at home options which weren't really options at all, I knew I had to do something else.
I started taking classes to be a web developer and designer. At first, I preferred developing, but as the classes went on, I fell in love with the designing aspect. It allowed me to be creative and technical at the same time which is perfect.
When I graduated, I planned to try to find a job where I could remain at home, but then I thought why not start my own business?
I kind of jumped into it without doing all the research, etc that I should have done. I was eager to start making money and I didn't realize just how difficult starting a business could be.
After spending quite a few months back pedaling and doing the research I should have done before I launched, I finally figured out my brand, my mission, and my values.
I knew I wanted Morphe Creative to be different than other businesses. I believe that people truly do come first even if that means losing money. I want people to walk away from my company with a feeling of satisfaction and happiness rather than feeling like they've been cheated.
I also discovered a passion for helping small businesses after joining a small business group on Facebook. I realized that so many businesses where relying on social media and DIY platforms for their main source of income. I want all of them to have an amazing website that will showcase their talents and what makes them special, not a website that stunts their business and looks just like every one else's out there.
Your website should be an extension of your brand, not a hindrance to it. Those DIY platforms give boxed websites that don't offer variety or creativity.
Long story short, I am a real person, trying to make a real living and support a real family. I understand that my customers are real people too and should be treated as such. I won't ever lie or cheat or steal from you because I believe you deserve better than that.
If you are in need of a website, remember Morphe Creative and shoot me a message. I would love to help make your dream come to life just as mine did when I started this company.
Morphe Creative. Be a step ahead.
There are two kinds of businesses. Side hustles and the real deal. Which one are you?
There are no right or wrong answers. This is completely personalized to you. But it's something you need to figure out before going any further.
How much time and money and energy are you willing to put into this?
Are you okay with it failing in the first year?
Is this your passion and you're going to see it through no matter what?
If this is what you plan on doing five years from now, make sure you get a website that can grow with your business. Don't take shortcuts now just to realize you've been throwing away money for years.
The DIY platforms look cheap upfront, but just check out the graph and see how much they add up. This chart shows the costs for up to three years. It only increases as the years go on.
If you want your business to last and you're ready to get a website that will grow with your business, message me at Morphe Creative. Be a step ahead.
DIY websites are huge right now and I get it. It doesn't cost much upfront and it makes you feel like you've got a professional website. For regular people who want a blog or just want to mess around, it's perfectly fine.
But for a business, it's not the way to go. You're cutting your business off at the knees when you go that route.
But what if my business doesn't take off? I don't want to lose a bunch of money.
That is a valid concern, but let me propose this scenario: what if your customers can tell that you don't believe in your business and therefore, don't buy from you?
Starting your own business is a risk. You knew that before you started. So stop dipping your toe in the shallow end and dive in at the deep end.
Contact us now at Morphe Creative, your first step begins here.
Why should you have a website?
Let me tell you a story. Recently, I came across a small business on facebook that I was interested in. I wanted to buy some jewelry from her but she didn't have a website. The only way to buy from her was to message her then send her money via PayPal.
I'm not an entirely trusting person because there are a lot of scanners out there. So instead of this business making money, and probably a bit more money down the road, she lost out because she didn't have a website.
Why does a website matter that much?
There's a general level of trust with businesses that are willing to put money into their business. Most scammers don't want to invest money into their scams because they want to make money, not spend it.
Plus, why should I, or anyone else, spend our hard earned money on your products when you're not willing to do the same.
Websites aren't that expensive and they end up making you more money than you've spent.
So stop relying solely on social media to make you money. You will not make a real living with your business if you don't branch out. You started your own business for a reason. I doubt it was so it can crap out within a year or two because you couldn't make enough money.
Social media has its place. It's cheaper advertising. It allows you to communicate directly with your audience. And it's an extension of your brand. But it shouldn't be an end all for your business.
If you have any questions, message me Morphe Creative or visit my website. I'd love to help you in any way I can.
How do you choose which website platform to use?
Choose one that offers more creativity and flexibility. It will set you apart from the other DIY websites that are a dime a dozen ie websites made on Square Space or Shopify. Yes, people can tell it's DIY.
So which ones offer more flexibility? Wix and word press. I recommend word press as it offers so much and includes anything and everything a website could possibly need. However, it's not beginner friendly.
Let's play a game! Two truths and a lie. I'll go first.
1. I live in Arizona with my 10 year old son.
2. I am super outgoing and love connecting with people.
3. I hate the business side of business. Go figure.
See if you can guess the lie then write your own 2 truths and a lie to see how many people can guess your lie.
