CRAZY DIAMOND

Thank you to all of you who keep checking this page out, we really do appreciate it and hope that you are not too disappointed by this update on our current status.
As two founder members of the band have now retired from playing live, Scott and I decided that we couldn’t possibly be Crazy Diamond any more. Without the personalities and tremendous musical ability of Craig and Jonno, it would never be the same. The fun, the friendships and the magic are something that can’t be replicated- a band is always the sum of it’s parts and this one in particular was no exception. We had an amazing run lasting over ten years and I am grateful to everyone who has supported us. It has been an honour to play with these local legends and they are both loved and missed.
Scott and I are still musically active, however and have now joined forces with Steven Perkins on lead guitar and Steam Kittens’ frontman Tom Turley on bass. You may know that apart from being our drummer, Scott also plays bass for the Kittens. As we are all native sons of Ilkeston, we have called the new band The Bath Street Kids.
Rock will be rolled, noise will be made and no doubt, stupidity will ensue. After all, it’s what we were born for…see you very soon. 🤘
