Final - unfortunately I have a 5 sec penalty added to my race 2 finishing time. Disappointed but will push on.
Race 2 this morning, 9.25am- sunny but windy morning, and we are all set.
Race One - 18mins of very tight close racing. Worked hard to move back up through the pack, but an incident in front meant I had to take evasive action, and lost momentum. Finished 21st but my times were within the top 15, so good to build on for tomorrow.
Qualifying P25 after not being able to get a clean lap through traffic. Now to data and car prep to get ready for race 1.
Qualifying now - picture perfect day at the Island and looking forward to the day.

Motorsport showed us it’s highs and lows this weekend- a fantastic 5th yesterday in Race 1, then a 15th in Race 2 and a disappointing DNF after a collision with the wall in the final today. We’ll get the damage sorted, and start planning for the next round at Phillip Island in 5 weeks time.
Thanks to Mike for all his guidance this weekend and to Garry Haywood and Dad for spannering for me. Also thankyou to my support crew at for coming down today.
Race 2 - wet track today and cool conditions. Started 5th but didn’t get traction off the start and ended up down the field, but we will reset and head into the final feeling positive.

Winton threw everything at us this race meet. It taught us many lessons-tested our driving and mechanical skills, caused us great frustration but rewarded our perseverance. We always look at the positives and can’t wait for Sandown. Thanks to Garry Haywood and Dad for working so hard on the car all weekend, and to Mike and Andrew for all their help.
Race 1 this morning wasn’t what we’d hoped after being involved in a turn one incident where my rear right corner was torn off. A lot of repair was required and the car wasn’t 100% for Race 2. It was relatively incident free thou, and we were happy to run the full race under green. More tweaks late this arvo to the car to be ready for the last race tomorrow, and expecting much better results.
