We are excited to share the success of our recent AEC Career Pathway Introduction event, held in collaboration with Son of a Saint!
Our team members introduced Son of a Saint mentees to the diverse world of construction, including steel fabrication and infrastructure. We want to give a huge shoutout to Chris Clement from HRI Properties for sharing his knowledge on the real estate development side of the industry.
It’s all about providing opportunities and guidance to these bright young men. Together, we’re laying the foundation for a promising future and opening doors for the next generation of leaders in construction. 🚀🔧🏗️
We celebrated a little early this weekend by diving into action for Coral Restoration Foundation and fabricating something a little different than what we're used to...imitation coral reef! By lending our skills and resources to this project, we're contributing to the restoration and preservation of these invaluable ecosystems. Every piece of artificial reef created is a step towards a brighter, healthier future for our oceans and all the life they support.

The Palmisano Foundation was proud to attend the Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans's 18th annual Celebration of the City Stars Soirée. The event honored JA’s 2023 Rising Star recipients and featured a silent auction, live music, local cuisine, cocktails, and more.
JA considers a Rising Star to be an individual under 40 who displays solid entrepreneurial skills with ethical and moral standards and is a founder, co-founder, owner, co-owner, or a key person of a growing local business. There were eight honorees this year, and each made a passionate speech about how they got to where they are in their careers today and how vital Junior Achievement is in helping the next generation of Rising Stars. It was indeed an inspiring night for all.
Isabel Villena and Max Murret, two highly talented and charismatic members of the Impetus team, represented our dedication to future leaders in AEC industries.

When people hear the term STEM, they usually picture scientists in lab coats. They don't think of construction. However, the focus on STEM has significantly impacted the construction industry, and young professionals will find that it offers many more opportunities than just the traditional work of "construction workers." Construction provides a range of STEM career opportunities, including roles in design, architecture, engineering, surveying, and estimating. The Palmisano Foundation is committed to increasing awareness for future leaders in the construction industry.
We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support at Renegade Fest that has helped us exceed our 100K goal! Thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, the Palmisano Foundation will be able to award scholarships to college students passionate about pursuing careers in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industries. Additionally, we can produce more innovative programming that supports initiatives to empower future leaders. Your contribution has tremendously impacted our mission to create a better future for all. Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us invest in our industry's leaders of tomorrow.

Our ears were ringing this week! We're so happy to be mentioned in conversations like this with Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.) CEO Michael Hecht on WBOK 1230AM this month. We're proud of our partnership with Uncommonconstruction, and we are thrilled to see that we have the support of community leaders like Mr. Hecht.

Our dedication to the young people of New Orleans presents opportunities to breathe life into the institutions that provide safe spaces for children and youth in need. The Raintree House at Raintree Children & Family Services has done that for nearly 100 years. While touring the Raintree facilities, the Palmisano Foundation team saw an opportunity to enhance the area most utilized by its residents - the recreation & game room. So we got to work!
Thanks to our team of dedicated Impetus volunteers and support from our local trade partners , , and , the effort was a tremendous success and is now providing a bright space for residents to welcome the holidays!

The Palmisano Foundation was happy to attend Uncommonconstruction's fall semester graduation ceremony. We celebrated the accomplishments of 10 high school students who worked and collaborated as apprentices to help build a house in four months!
Each apprentice dedicated their Saturdays throughout the semester to the construction site. They received school credit hours and equity award scholarships, which apprentices can use to further their education, and earn industry certifications or tools needed for a full-time job in the construction industry. Double-tap this post to help us celebrate this bright group of students!
This year the Impetus team and the Palmisano Foundation raised and donated over $2100 for wish list items to the children in the Angels' Place, Inc. program. The staff at Angel's Place work with children of all ages. Angel's Place is a non-profit that supports families with children with life-threatening illnesses. Their gift program was created to help assure a holiday season for terminally ill children and their families. There were 12 children on our list, some newly diagnosed and some headed to St. Jude to begin treatment. We are proud to be able to bring joy to these families during this holiday season.
The Palmisano Foundation is proud to announce our $750,000, three-year commitment to causes important to New Orleans youth in tandem with the NOLA Coalition.
“The Palmisano Foundation was founded to serve underprivileged youth and educational initiatives supporting the world’s next generation of great thinkers and doers, so working in tandem with The NOLA Coalition is a natural fit for us,” said Wesley Palmisano, WJ Palmisano Founder and President of the Board of The Palmisano Foundation.
