Started my weekend off with a gorgeous hike. Hiked around several serene lakes. Saw many mountain goats and grouse. Also heard other creatures along the way. Ended the night with a Fleetwood Mac tribute concert and of course dinner. Had so much fun playing the part of such an eclectic 70's era. The one section I could safely record without smashing my phone 😬😄. This sandy section was very deceiving. It was actually pretty slippery but my bike handled it well❤️🔥*ignore the breathing, just a bit tired 🤪
I have to admit my yoga practice paid off. I was able to negotiate the curves, jumps and rocky terrain without fail. I wasn't even sore the next day. See you for yoga 6pm-7pm at the Hermiston Athletic Club.
No one knows the days that almost crushed you. No one knows the heart break that almost broke you. No one knows the fear that almost froze you.
No one knows the courage it takes to be you. No one knows the strength it takes to face the battles that you do. No one knows the inner warrior you must invoke in order to get up and give each day all that you’ve got.
No one knows how far you have come. What each movement forward has meant. What each of your triumphs has had you triumph over. What each moment of healing has helped you to accept. Winning isn’t always about what we get. It’s about what we’ve learned we can overcome. Glory isn’t always glorious. Sometimes its quiet. Uneventful. Unseen by the world around us. Witnessed only by the goddesses that guide us.
Each of us needs to be witnessed. To be acknowledged in our entirety. To be recognized for the spark of divinity that we are. It’s human to want that kind of recognition. Attention. Acknowledgement. It’s our job to make sure that we find our own way to shine. To illuminate what is most meaningful to us. To take the stage that will best showcase our kind of light.

Enjoyed a little bit of land, shred and water. Started off with the Stick Figure & SOJA concert. Then dinner afterwards. The following morning, a light breakfast, then hit the trails for a MTB ride. Did a 12 mile intermediate loop. I was so stoked to finish this loop. It was not easy! The uphill was intense and required constant peddling. I felt accomplished after passing a few guys who didn't fare so well on the rocky descend. It was fast, flowy, rocky and many roots. It was the BEST part🤗. Hit the river afterwards to cool off. Even took a dive!😄. Then afterwards hit the trail for a waterfall hike. The views were excellent! Enjoyed the sound of rushing water and took many pictures. The next morning was rest day out on the town enjoyed shopping and sampling delicious treats. All in all it was an amazing time!🥳💞

The last few weeks have been a blend of various adventures. I've enjoyed the outdoors just as much as staying home getting creative with my culinary skills. Wishing you just as much fun with the things that fire your soul!

Why did you spill the coffee?

Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. If there had been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
So, when life shakes you up, whatever is inside you will come out.
It's easy to pretend everything's fine until you're shaken.
So, we have to ask ourselves, "What's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy? Gratitude? Peace? Humility? Anger? Bitterness? A victim mentality? A tendency to quit?
Rember LIFE gives you the cup; YOU choose what to fill it with.

Seasons of stagnation, challenges, growth and adjustments. Sometime life throws at us a whirlwind of things. Those things may be good or not so good. Nontheless, it's in the HOW that's going to determine our approach and outlook of those circumstances. I wish the month of June brings you many things to be proud of.
