It is no secret that regular exercise has countless benefits for our physical health. However, what is often overlooked is the fact that exercise also has a profound impact on our mental and emotional well-being.
In today’s fast-paced and stressful world, it is more important than ever to make time for self-care. And there is no better way to do that than by getting active and sweating it out!
Not only does exercise release endorphins (the ‘feel-good’ hormone), but it also reduces anxiety, boosts brain power, and improves sleep. In short, it is one of the best things you can do for your overall health and well-being.
So, what are you waiting for? Get up and get moving!

The reason I exercise is for the quality of life I enjoy.!

I’ve been exercising for over thirty years. I started when I was thirteen and it’s been a mainstay of my life ever since. I can’t imagine going a day without it. The reason I exercise is for the quality of life I enjoy.

When I was younger, I exercised to stay in shape. I wanted to be able to play sports and be active. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to realize that exercise is about so much more than that. It’s about keeping my mind and body sharp. It’s about maintaining my independence and being able to do the things I love.

Exercise is an important part of my day. It’s something I look forward to and it’s something that gives me a lot of pleasure. I know that as long as I keep exercising, I’ll be able to enjoy the things I love for many years to come.

“If you truly treat your body like a temple, it will serve you well for decades. If you abuse it, you must be prepared for poor health and a lack of energy.” – Oli Hille

27/11/2022

It’s commonly said that what drains your spirit, drains your body. The inverse is also true – what fuels your spirit, fuels your body. The two are interconnected and if you want to be physically healthy, you need to pay attention to your spiritual health as well.
Unfortunately, in our fast-paced and materialistic world, it’s all too easy to forget about our spiritual needs. We become so focused on our goals and ambitions that we neglect our inner selves. This can lead to a feeling of emptiness and frustration, which can manifest itself in physical form through poor health.
That’s why it’s so important to make time for activities that nourish your spirit. This can be anything from reading, going for walks in nature, to meditating or attending religious services. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as it makes you feel good and connected to something larger than yourself.

In the United States, the healthcare reform debate has been ongoing for many years. The latest attempt at reform was the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, which was passed in 2010.
However, while Obamacare did make some progress in terms of expanding access to health care, it did not address the root cause of the problem: the rising cost of health care.
One reason the cost of health care is so high is because of the way we as a society think about health and medicine. We tend to think of health care as something that happens in hospitals and doctor’s offices. But the reality is, true healthcare reform cannot happen in Washington. It has to happen in our kitchens, homes, and communities. All health care is personal.

21/11/2022

The United States spends more on health care than any other country in the world, yet our health outcomes are some of the worst. We have an obesity epidemic, a diabetes epidemic, and rates of heart disease and cancer that are off the charts. Something is clearly wrong with our approach to health, and it’s time for a change.
We can’t rely on the government to fix our problems – true health care reform has to happen at the grassroots level. It has to start with each and every one of us making the decision to live a healthier life. We have to take responsibility for our own health and wellbeing, and we have to start making the changes that we need to see in our lives.
It’s time for a healthy revolution. It’s time to take our lives back.

In ancient Greece, the physician Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." This is still good advice. The idea of medicine is to prevent disease and prolong life. To achieve these ends, the physician must have a good understanding of the Patient, Disease, and Therapeutics.
The Patient is the focus of medicine. The physician must have a good understanding of the patient's problems, including both the physical and mental aspects. The physician must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient.
The disease is the enemy of medicine. The physician must have a good understanding of the causes and progression of diseases. The physician must also be able to identify and treat the various signs and symptoms of the disease.
A therapeutics is a tool of medicine. The physician must have a good understanding of the various therapeutic modalities, including their indications, contraindications, and side effects. The physician must also be able to select the most appropriate therapy for each patient.

Gaining control over your health and well-being is one of those times in your life that you get to be completely selfish and not feel bad about it. If you want to meet your goals, you have to make it about you. You have to make it work for you and you alone. Anything less is a setup for failure."— Jennifer Hudson

The definition of medicine has changed throughout the centuries. In the past, medicine was seen as a way to prevent disease and prolong life. The idea of medicine was to eliminate the need of a physician. Today, medicine is still seen as a way to prevent disease and prolong life, but the definition has changed to include the idea of health.
The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” This definition of health encompasses more than just the physical body; it includes the mind and the spirit as well.
With this new definition of health, the role of medicine has changed as well. Medicine is now seen as a way to maintain and improve health. This shift in focus from the treatment of disease to the promotion of health is an important step in the right direction.

“Where the art of medicine is loved, there is also love for humanity” - Hippocrates.

17/11/2022

The art of medicine is still very much alive and that we must never forget our duty to humanity.

16/11/2022

The Hippocratic Oath, one of the oldest binding documents in history, asks physicians to swear, “I will apply dietetic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice.” In return, the physician swears to “use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgment.”
While the Oath has undergone many revisions since it was first written in the 5th century BCE, its core message remains the same: that physicians have a duty to their patients to use their skills for the benefit of humanity.
Today, we face a number of challenges that threaten this core tenant of the Hippocratic Oath. Increasingly, we are faced with the question of whether we should put profit over people. In a world where health care is a business, it is easy to forget that the real business of medicine is helping people.

16/11/2022

The art of medicine is one that is steeped in tradition and millennia of accumulated knowledge. It is an art that is as much about the practitioner as it is about the patient. The Hippocratic Oath, which is taken by physicians, captured this notion well: “I will use treatments for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment, but never with a view to injury and wrong-doing.”
This oath captures the essence of the physician’s role: to care for the sick to the best of their ability, without causing harm. It is a pledge to put the patient’s well-being above all else.
The oath also encapsulates the humanity that is at the core of the art of medicine. To care for another human being is a fundamental expression of love and compassion. It is this love for humanity that motivates physicians to dedicate their lives to the care of others.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” This definition has been adopted by many countries and is widely accepted.
Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. It is a dynamic process that requires Prakriti (constitution), Ahara (diet), and Vidya (right knowledge) for its maintenance.
Ayurveda, the science of life, is built on the premise that health is a state of balance and that disease is a state of imbalance. Ayurveda strives to maintain health through the use of a variety of techniques, including dietary changes, yoga, and massage.

12/11/2022

The concept of health is much broader than the traditional biomedical model. It includes physical, mental, and social aspects. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

There are many determinants of health, including genetic predisposition, lifestyle, and social factors. The good news is that, even if you are not born with perfect health, there are things you can do to improve your health.

So, what does it really mean to be healthy? Keep reading to find out!

11/11/2022

In recent years, there has been a shift in the way we think about health and wellness. We are now moving away from the traditional medical model of disease and towards a more holistic approach that recognizes the importance of the mind-body connection.

One of the most important things we can do for our health is to simply stop interfering with nature. Our bodies are constantly striving to maintain balance and homeostasis, and they have an amazing ability to heal themselves. If we can learn to trust and respect our bodies, we will be much more likely to achieve optimum health.

It is often said that health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, and faithfulness the best relationship. But what does that mean?

Simply put, it means that if you have your health, you have everything. And if you are content with what you have, you are wealthy. And if you have faith in yourself and those around you, you will have the best relationships.

While these things may seem simple, they are often the things that we take for granted. And when we do, we can end up leading lives that are far from joyful.

So today, let us take a moment to appreciate the things that matter most in life. Let us be thankful for our health, our contentment, and our relationships. And let us pledge to live our lives in a way that is respectful of these gifts.

10/11/2022

It is often said that health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, and faithfulness the best relationship. These are three things that are very important in life and it is important to realize that they are all connected.

When we are healthy, we are able to be content with what we have. We are not constantly searching for something more or something better because we are satisfied with what we have. And when we are content, we are able to have healthier relationships. We are not looking for something that is not there. We are able to be faithful to our relationships because we are content with what we have.

It is important to realize that these three things are all connected. When we have one, we are more likely to have the other two as well.
