In honor of and as a birthday gift, here's me reimagining Floaroma Town as a children's book scenery haha.

Sobrang memorable ng dialogue na ito when I first played Pokemon Brilliant Diamond around three years ago. I was going through some stuff during the pandemic (like, didn't we all???) and playing video games were (as usual) one of my coping strategies.

I also dedicate my extensive background illustration attempt to Axl haha. See comments to see references to all of these stories. 😅

Earlier this year, I made a separate account Denohsawr just to dump in-game shots (and i have plentyyy) and supposedly random thoughts. So, I made this. 😄 also, testing out different coloring styles 🥰

I haven't touched much of my traditional art materials lately (and I also have to downsize because.... space haha) that one of my gouache sets is already dried up... 😂😅😭🥲

So here are some quick painting exercise and studies just so that I can get comfortable with them (before i play around with some new brushes on Procreate wahaha). 🍓🍊

Used a mixture of gouache and poster paints, posca markers, colored pencils, and a hint of washi tape!
