Honestly, few things are better than looking back to a fun experience.
Time has worked it’s wonders and all the hiccups of the time are no longer relevant. We’re only left with memories, which we can use to make meaning.
As you might remember, last year we helped organise the Business Innovation Challenge at Foothill College. Still virtually at the time, we came together with ideas we hoped to turn into businesses (or not)…
This year we are back, sharing our stories with the new blood. was on the planning team, reaching out to less privileged communities in hopes of offering an encouraging push to students who felt “unqualified” or “outsiders”
participated in the challenge with an idea of a card game, “Unpack Your Backpack,” in an attempt to help people play, and have fun while socialising in college. She worked at the school café and saw the need and opportunity to bring conversation past the superficial level.

These were the stories we shared. And trust that stories shared become better stories…
If you have cool ideas, pursue them! Understand WHY you’re doing it, and if you feel that it’s important, go. for. it.

Greece update🇬🇷:
Tourism and hospitality have been the most profitable economic sector in Greece for years. What’s new? Real estate! Multiple neighborhoods in Athens are being renovated constantly in response to the economic growth efforts and initiatives. New residents are making their way over and locals are looking for ways to get involved.
Our advice to you…LOOK AROUND YOU, you might find a need or opportunity worthwhile spending time on👁✨

Officially our last day working together for the summer, but this is not a “goodbye.”
When you work with REAL creative f****rs you don’t let them go…

So glad we could get a exposed to the concept of positive deviance by the a couple weeks ago, it really fuelled our work✨

Today we reimagined what it means to be a leader who considers the “languages” of others, inspired by one of the most prominent figures on Puerto Rico: Pedro Albizu Campos🇵🇷✨☀️

Where are we this time??? The 📲 rang one day and Rob said: “We need you three to take the wheel.” So here we are..working on some of the coolest projects…helping the economy of Puerto Rico provide opportunities to its locals🤝😌

Human Knot 🪢

Teaching teaches you about what it is to be human. How differently all of us express, learn, manifest, share, reflect. And the moment we start to share the same goal, working together feels almost effortless🤝

We broke into pairs and used the “So…” card deck to get to know a little bit more about how each of us experiences life!

It’s been a journey! We were given the chance to look evaluate our life, decide what to keep and discard the rest. Cleanup!

On that note...we’ve been playing around with UX (user experience) and UI (user interface)!

No matter what, where, or when, we are always connected! Ideas spread as long as there’s at least someone talking and someone listening. Keep thinking...

Some notable moments we shared with the folks visiting the Oracle headquarters in Redwood Shores. A lot of ideas jotted down, a lot of minds connected, can’t wait to collaborate in person again....
But let’s not forget, we can never escape connection, even if we are forced to adapt, we’ll make it happen even if it’s virtual!

“The Designer’s Critical Alphabet” by has to be one of the biggest life-savers. In our daily conversations and actions we engage with those notions without realizing. Pointing a magnifying glass on them helps us see things from a clearer perspective. A small definition on topics of varied disciplines...a must ingredient for your thanksgiving table!
