A bit deep and meaningful for a Monday, but what a quote! This is one of those that the more you try and understand it, the deeper the meaning becomes.

I believe that it should give us hope though, hope that there is a destiny, a plan for us all and the cover represents this through depicting the uniqueness of fingerprint like marks, each with its own destiny and meaning.

"Focused" the new release from A-Z Inspirational Series reminds us that the secret to getting ahead, is actually just to get started.

Sometimes we can get so caught up in our thoughts of how we should do something, all the possible scenarios of what could go wrong, where as in fact the best thing we could do, is just to make a start. Each step we take, no matter how small, is a step towards our goal.

The cover for "Focused" was created when I was at a real crossroads, a little lost and not sure which way to turn. It represents my journey, the different paths in front of me and not knowing which was the way forward. Turns out they would all have led to somewhere if I had just trusted that first step.

It is Friday, we are almost at the weekend, this is the perfect time for Energized, the new release from the A-Z Inspirational Series. The weeks may seem long at the moment, but we have to keep going! As todays quote says "Try and fail but don't fail to try".

D is for Decisive. My favourite quote for this would have been "Make a decision, right or wrong. The road is paved with flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision." However I don't think it would have been as inspiring! This one rings true to me right now though; we are shaped by our thoughts, we become what we think! Some days it is hard to stay positive with so much negativity going on around us, in the world or maybe closer to home, but having a positive mindset really does make all the difference.

The cover seemed apt for decision making, it reflects how my head would appear sometimes when I am thinking over (or over thinking) something.

Let's be Cheerful! Wise words from Freud today in the Inspirational Series, "In the small matters trust the mind, in the large ones the heart." We try so often to make the right choices and question ourselves constantly, but this piece of advice definitely makes those decisions much easier.

I remember creating this cover just before Christmas, my girls were making paper chains and the house was full of laughter and happiness, the colours and swirls are reflective of "Christmas cheer" and kids smiles.

NEW RELEASE! As the second notebook in the series of the A-Z "Inspirational Series", Blissful reminds us to learn how to respond, not how to react. The world is pretty crazy right now, so slow down, take some time and do what is best for you, always!

The cover was designed using a technique called "Gelli Printing". This one was created last summer, I had just returned from the beach, feeling relaxed and refreshed, the colours and shapes ended up mirroring my thoughts and mindset - hence the name "Blissful".

I am so happy to announce that the first part of the A-Z "Inspirational Series" is now available. With two sizes and either paperback or hardcover to choose from there are lots of options for you. I created the cover designs through hand made techniques, using Art Therapy as a way of finding my way through the chaos in the last couple of years.

The first release is called "Alive", the quote "Life is a balance between holding on and letting go" has been very apt for me and this was a meaningful place to start this series.

My Amazon Author Biography:

I was always the girl in school and growing up with more notebooks than possible information that I could ever dream to fill them with. Some were even too pretty to write in, so remained (and still do) on my shelf, adored, but empty. I love the excitement that a new notebook brings, the endless possibilities of ideas and musings to write, or even just fill with pages of doodles.

During the past few years, I like many have had to find a path through the chaos that this world has thrown at us. With four young children and a busy life I found the best way to keep me grounded and (mostly) sane, was to create art, in many forms. I am not an artist, but everything I produced was attached to a story, a feeling, a memory. Sometimes it was a good day, filled with optimism and excitement for the future. Other days were dark and I used art and creation as a way to try and get back on track.

It was my girls, who are now all growing up just like their mum, with an equal love of notebooks and art who suggested that I combine my two passions and bring back some joy, colour and inspiration to the world that I fear we all have been missing for a while.

I hope you enjoy these Notebooks (even if they remain empty but adored on your self like some of mine), as much as I enjoyed creating them for you.
