Food Crew was never going far, we couldnt leave you behind, now you are family.

A massive thank you to Dan Landlord of Wheatsheaf, who knowing we were homeless quickly acted to make things easy and to welcome us to a pub that has so much history, and now time to make and write some more.

We will be serving Old Town and Swine Towns finest pizzas from this Friday, and every Friday to Sunday from 5.30pm on Fridays till late and from 5pm on Saturday and Sundays till late.

'I cant change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination' Destination is now the Wheatsheaf.

******Our Last Weekend AT The Royal Oak Old Town ******

Alas, its our time to say goodbye from the Royal Oak. We wish the team the very best of luck with all of their new plans and endeavours for food.

We would also like to put on the record our thanks to the management and to the staff, who have been incredibly supportive in what has been an excellent collaboration. Food Crew has certainly built a very strong reputation in the partnership, delivering arguably the most consistent and best artisan pizza offering in old Swine Town and Old Town.

The many plaudits, comments and testimonials have been at times overwhelming for what is such a tiny business. But, it goes to show what you can achieve with determination, hard work and a passion for your product. Food Crew a business built from so little, already has achieved so much - which has been demonstrated by repeat customers, word of mouth (you can trust it!) and being top rated on the deliveroo platform with a rating of 4.9 excellent.

A massive thank you to you our supporters, to our staff, past and present, Ian, Dittosa and Adam who have worked incredibly hard to make the pizza offering so popular! And to one member who must take alot of the plaudits - Paul Wainwright who at 73 has never missed a shift, not earned a penny, but his work rate, passion for the brand and his charm has been a real stand out; and so infectious in the Oak. Serving many pizzas - on one night serving over 70 of them, all with a smile. A real star - thank you.

To our Food Crew Foodies and Fans, its not over! We hope to soon share our new location; which will remain close to our roots. So do not fear, if you want your Food Crew Pizza Fix we will still be around for you. We will also be around to deliver to our sister pubs.

They say the world is your oyster, and when one door closes, one just may open! And of course when it does, we hope you come knocking. As before, we look forward to seeing you and would love you to still remain part of our growing Food Crew Family.
