Here Comes The Summer Black Collection!

Meet Jamal, a Beaucarnia.

Symbolism✨Beaucarnea symbolises strength and imperturbability. The name is a combination of Beau (beautiful) and carneia, an Ancient Greek harvest festival that’s celebrated under various names throughout Europe. It refers to the primeval power of the plant, which almost always manages to recover.

Care✨ The Beaucarnea is a drought-friendly plant, since the stem stores water. This is why the Beaucarnea can still survive if left unwatered for a while, making this plant very easy to take care of. During the summertime, the Beaucarnea recurvata or Ponytail Palm should be watered once every week.

Here Comes The Summer Black Collection!

Meet Albi, a Hoya Kerrii.

Symbolism✨The Sweetheart Plant (Hoya kerrii) is a small, easy-care plant that is easily recognized by its cute heart-shaped leaves. This also gives it the alternative common name ‘Valentine Hoya’. They’re often given as a gift on Valentine’s Day, as they’re believed to symbolize love and devotion.

Care✨ Hoya heart plants prefer bright locations, but avoid direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves. Given its tropical origins, the plant thrives in humid, warm temperatures – around 21°C is ideal. A bright bathroom is a perfect location for Hoya kerrii.
