Vote NO for CA #1 and STOP electing politicians entering public service for personal wealth. This is an example of voter suppression to prevent removing grifter politicians from office. Shouldn’t your representative be more concerned with the high cost of insurance, access to healthcare, or maybe crime prevention? No they are concerned with their own re-election.

As climate risks mount, the insurance safety net is collapsing 10/10/2023

The Louisiana legislature is paralyzed by fear of losing the backing of for profit insurance companies to address the real problem. $45M to the for profit insurance companies is a public money bribe to keep your representative in power. Break the cycle of electing grifting politicians in public service for personal wealth.

“People don’t understand a basic economic law — there’s no free lunch. There’s a risk,” she said. “Somebody’s paying for it. It’s just a question of who.”

As climate risks mount, the insurance safety net is collapsing Natural disasters now cost the U.S. insurance industry $100 billion a year. What happens when no one wants to pick up the tab?

Elevation datum for construction of First Solar manufacturing plant. Green energy is coming to Iberia parish along with 700 manufacturing jobs. Hold your elected officials accountable to not mess this up!

Wise grid expansion could provide reliable power and give consumers cost savings — if allowed by regulators. | The Lens 09/10/2023

“If planned carefully, infrastructure investments can also yield significant economic benefits for Louisiana’s rural communities by enabling the development of new solar energy projects. As those projects come online, they’ll reduce air pollution for urban communities as older, more expensive energy generation retires.”

Wise grid expansion could provide reliable power and give consumers cost savings — if allowed by regulators. | The Lens An updated, well-connected power grid is critical to shielding New Orleans -- and the rest of the state -- from the worst financial and life-threatening impacts of record-high temperatures and flooding.

Regulators slam Entergy’s ‘incomplete’ plan for resources, transmission 09/10/2023

The resistance by the utilities to block access to public owned grid will also hamper the deployment of solar energy. Break the cycle of electing politicians that serve for their personal wealth.

Regulators slam Entergy’s ‘incomplete’ plan for resources, transmission Entergy Louisiana’s new road map for addressing future needs does not examine transmission options or explore the potential impact of more stringent environmental standards, among other key issues, Public Service Commission members and staff say.

Why would a state representative purchase an interest in a health insurance company? Perhaps Ms. ODonoghue provides a clue.

More acreage planted, crop yields go up, and the Louisiana legislature and Ag commissioner does nothing. This has to stop. It can stop.

The state legislature refuses to address the climate disaster so I had to develop my own method to detect methane emissions. Solutions are easy if we elect those committed to public service and remove those grifting for personal wealth.

The incumbent received $79,640.42 in PAC money. Break the cycle of politicians entering public service for personal wealth.

I do not believe the voters of district 48 want to exclude minority voices. Unfortunately the incumbent does and his work to do such is verified through documentation (vetoed bill and the supreme court decision striking down states attempt to dismiss federal law). Break the cycle of overt systemic racism and we all benefit!

Oil and gas job promises out of reach for people of color - Louisiana Illuminator 06/10/2023

All the pollution and no jobs sounds very similar to the sugar cane smoke problem.

Oil and gas job promises out of reach for people of color - Louisiana Illuminator There’s an unspoken promise when an industry moves into any community: We will disrupt your lives but in exchange provide good-paying jobs.

Unfortunately our representation has been busy with voter suppression (HB 260 - vetoed), favors for friends (Shell tax refund for local tax attorney), and purchasing interests in health care insurance providers. Imagine the progress with true representation? Break the cycle of politicians entering public service for personal wealth.

Understanding the cause of the climate disaster is the first step in addressing the problem. (Perhaps greenhouse gases can be used for short term energy storage?)

The term “stakeholder” is a relatively new term to politics and illustrates the divisiveness being pushed on the public by the far right. There are no “stakeholders” at the groundbreaking of a public school. A more reasonable description would be public servants and citizens. Break the cycle of divisiveness and stop voting for far right extremists like rep miguez and beaullieu.

The journey of my family to build our American Dream started with these Photos from the refugee camp in Thailand for our immigration paperwork. For many, the American dream is about finding NEW opportunities and starting a NEW better life for oneself. We have to make the dream available to everyone. Let’s bring in NEW jobs and NEW investments for the people of District 22. Vote Phanat Xanamane for State Senate #62

I've worked part-time as an educator for 15 years.

In Louisiana, our children deserve the best education possible. That's why I'm running for Senate District 22 – to empower our teachers. Our teachers work tirelessly, and it's time we give them the resources and support they need to succeed. Together, we can invest in our schools, reduce class sizes, and provide fair pay for our educators. Let's make Louisiana a place where every child has a bright future. It's time to put our teachers and our children first.

The climate disaster has increased the cost of property insurance in Louisiana. The only solution to the high cost of property insurance is to include the entire nation in the risk pool. The federal government must be involved to lower premiums and also work at reducing atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases. (The cost of the military is borne by the nation, not just those at the border susceptible to invasion).

Louisiana is poised to become a toxic dumping ground at the hands of state legislators like beaullieu and miguez. They’re propped into positions of power by Koch industries (the pelican institute) and lobby organizations like LABI, LOGA, LMOGA, etc. Break the cycle of disaster.

What have your representatives been up to? Declaring bankruptcy after building silly boats with space junk nets and taking PPP money while insisting the government wastes money. Truth is stranger than fiction!
